Alexandra, You are going to be busy, Tammy Faye went to school with my sister, she only used a 1/2 gallon back then.
Katie Why didn't you but the Corset? Nothing wrong with being a slut for one day or night.
I bought the cutest pair of jeans, Arc for just $6, so tight, and have the upside down u on the rear. I like it. Kristen

I stopped at one of those giant sports and fitness stores yesterday on the way home from work and bought two pair of running/fitness shorts (silky nylon with sewn-in panty) and a Danskin V-neck top with half sleeves. Going to the gym this afternoon, and the new goodies help keep me motivated. Love to all,

I bought a wig, something a little more conventional than my red/black punk one ($15). I went to Belk at the mall to visit the MAC counter. After testing a couple of different foundations, the artist recommended I buy some liquid latex to even out my skin, then put the makeup on over. She even offered to show me how it would work. I went back to the costume shop where I purchased the wig, and bought the liquid latex($6.99). Then I got a haircut ($12) and some lunch ($6). Back to the mall and MAC. After a quickish lesson about the latex and the foundation. I'm on a tight budget, and shouldn't be spending a lot, but I couldn't go all the way across town just for foundation ($25), so I bought a nice lipstick ($16) as well. Knowing that everything will be near-perfect come Halloween: Priceless.

Hi all,
Actually it was last night, but I picked up a handy hook mirror as once advertised on TV for $3 including tax. I got the last one!
I hope this will make it easier to apply makeup so I might try more often. My wife doesn't use any and there really isn't a convenient place for me right now. I've tried putting the mirror around my neck and the 5x magnifying side will help quite a bit, leaving both hands free.
What did you buy today?

It's been a couple weeks since anyone posted here. I guess we've gotten a little frugal between the holidays. I know I have. This is the first time I've had any real spending money since the last time I posted in this thread. I went to WalMart yesterday for my semi-weekly grocery trip. I got all the usual food stuff, plus cold meds and tissues (it's that season!). I found a sexy pair of black Mary Janes with a three-inch heel, and just had to buy them. In assembling my wardrobe the past few weeks, it's occurred to me that I've never owned my own feminine outerwear. I've always been able to borrow someone else's (my ex, or a girlfriend), or else I've made do with one of my "masculine" pieces. I found a cute quilted jacket that should hold up till the weather gets really cold. I'm looking for something heavier, but my budget couldn't handle it this week.

Didn't buy anything today but, within the last week (on 2 seperate occasions) I have bought:
3rd ever pair of footwear (!), black pointed-toed patent-leather shoes with 2" spike heels
Very simple black knee-length skirt
Blouse made of a crinkly red fabric with black lace roseate pattern over it
Much simpler black cotton T with a spiral of words like 'love' and 'truth' and 'acceptance' on it, alternating English and Italian

Let's see, at the Burlington Factory Coat Outlet: On Sale a beautiful, solid white silk blouse and a pair of split leather, over the calf 3" heel boots, (girl has got to keep her legs warm) I have been looking at their winter coats, -- so many choices. It has been it the 60's so it is not quite time to buy that nice faux fur winter coat --- yet! They have an off white ermine that is drop dead georgeous, $159.00. That will probably be my choice.
Shop 'till ya drop, girls!

I found the most psychotic shoes the other day at Winners! Pink vinyl pumps with severely pointed toes and 4" stiletto heels. Jah love do they hurt me but they're worth it! Not that I'm ususally one to wear pink. I just couln't resist! esp. as they were on clearance for only $7! Gee, I'll have to actually get some pink things so I can accessorize....

Just bought a great pair of leather knee-high side-zip boots with 3" block heels from a GGfriend. They're a quite ugly shade of brown but I spent last evening with the right boot and a sharpie, after about 3 coats of ink they have a superneat black sheen which doesn't seem to run or stain at all.
