Just a joke... ??

Post by Jabbela »

Last Saturday I went to my daughters birthday (8 yrs old now). As I am not out to my kids, she does not know "Jabbela".

I was a few minutes late and when I sat down at the table for a cake my daughter started to make jokes about me, called me "Papselina" (which is her female version of "Papa" = "Dad") and told her friends, that I am a woman. I did not reply any word - lol... not only because I did not want to break her joke and the laughter at the table.

- For further reading - a bit off topic -
Well - after being separated and divorced from my wife for about 3.5 years now - my ex-wife often tries to put some pressure on me by "I will tell officials about this" - which means she will tell the people of the "youth care" system in Germany about my CDing/Transgenderism in case I don't do what she wants me to do. It has become an ugly "war" with her. I was already at the point, to tell her: "OK, just do so..." as I am not afraid of any legal consequences anymore - and in case there would be consequences, I will sue her for discrimination. But this incident just showed me, that this weapon is not loaded anymore... And i guess my ex-wife was really shocked about the things my daughter said... lol... and I was amused...

So long - I just wanted to share this funny incident with you...
... and maybe I might change my nickname to papselina... lol...

Are you sure she does not know "Jabbela"?

Maybe she has the gift of sight and see Jabbela in her dreams?

IMHO our kids know a lot more than we think they do. The only question is how much and what are their thoughts on it. We have not told our kids about me but from the comments they have made, some similar to what your daughter said, they know. We just keep raising our kids to be open minded. And we also have not lied to them about the questions they have asked. Like some of the clothes in our closet are not mom's. They have not moved on to the the second question.... who's are they? But waiting for that one.
