Woke up this morning, showered, shaved, and etc. Wife walks into the bathroom while I am putting on my makeup and says her watch has stopped running. Sense she has had the battery replace once before the watch repair shop gave her a 1 year warranty on the battery. It has only been 9 months so she gets a free replacement. I tell her I would get it replaced and she looks at me and says, "Are you sure, it will mean JoAnn will have to go to the Mall". I tell her "I go every place else why not the Mall". "have fun", she says and leaves to help at the local library book sale and I finish getting dressed. I decided to wear a summer dress which the helm comes about 3" above my knees and my 3" espadrilles. After checking myself in the mirror, I make sure I have everything in my purse and drive to the Mall. I park, walk thru Sear's, into the Mall proper. I check the directory for the watch repair store and stroll thru the Mall to the store. No one takes any notice and not even the clerk at the Watch Repair Store. As I walk out of the store, right in front of me and down a little is Victoria Secrets. There is no way I am leaving the Mall without at least walking thru VS. So I walk in and browse. This is a big VS store which includes cosmetics too. As I am browsing, I spot a PINK Tap-Pant PJ set. I notice that they have a size L and it OMG is on SALE for $15.00. Next thing I know, I am walking up to the check out holding the PINK Tap-Pant set. I pay using my Debit Card and the sales person hands me my Tap-Pant set nestled in a VS PINK shopping Bag. As I leave Victoria Secrets holding my PINK VS, I am on cloud Nine. Since I am now having a time of my life, I decide to strolling around the Mall and check out some of the stores. Finally, I am back at Sear's, walk back thru and to my car.
This is going down as one of the best outings I have ever had.

Any trip that takes you into VS is an awesome one, JoAnn!!

I started reading it, and thought to myself, 'Go JoAnn, it's yer birthday! Go JoAnn, it's yer birthday!!!'

Then I realized you found something to fit you at VS, and a wave of jealousy washed over me, causing me to start flinging packages of trashy lingerie from Fredricks towards the wall in a hissy fit of rage and self loathing, muttering to myself, "VS skinny people...pssssh, who needs em??!?!!?!?!?!?!?"

Now, there's a Saturday for you, JoAnn. May you have a contented Sunday, too, whether enfemme or not.

I know exactly how you feel having done something similar myself a couple of weeks ago, minus the VS visit - they don't have any shops here. I spent two hours wandering around Sheffield city centre, in and out of shops, the only comment I heard was a woman telling her husband "that blonde lady is tall".

I wonder when I will do it again.

Don't you just love it when you can go anywhere you please and enjoy yourself. Gosh wish I was 45 years younger and starting all over again

I even had to ask some teenage girls to let me thru, since they were blocking an aisle in one store. They all stopped talking, looked at me, then one of them said,'Sorry Mam" and they parted a path for me. Boy their radar must not have been be working. LOL
