Picture this……..
A poor wretch is chained to the wall of a foul dungeon in the tower of London. He has been through days and days of torture and he has still not confessed. The torturer’s have tried every means of pain they have and are preparing to start again when the head torturer has a quiet word with his apprentice. The apprentice then pops out to the local Ye Oldy Boots and on his return hands a package to his boss.
The torturer move over to his victim who hanging semi conscious in his chains and prods him with a red hot poker to get his attention. The poor chap tries desperately to focus on the evil smiling source of his pains and when he realises what is being held in front of him he is filled with fear and panic and musters all the strength he has left to scream ‘’ Please no, I confess, I confess’’, for before him the torturer stands with a box of wax hair removal tapes and battery operated epilator, (no electricity remember). The torturer laughs and says to his apprentice, ‘’ You see Egor, it works ever time, now get the chap a pen’’.
This is how I felt after trying these methods. Shear torture. Call me a wimp if you like but I’ll stick to my trusty razor.

You're a wimp
How can you ever expect to give birth if you can't even wax your legs.
OK, I confess that I have never given birth, nor have I waxed my legs, but I do use a cordless epilator on occasion. The trick is this: first, shave your legs so there is less to be yanked out; also, some will say that pre-applying something like Nair will make it less painful to epilate. I can't say that I've noticed a difference. But you need to do it every day. or every couple days, to keep it under control.

Woman up, girl!

What's a little torture when you get to be beautiful once it's all over? Ya knnnoooowwwww...... there are other tortures you may consider too. Try wearing the wrong width pump all day, or pantihose that won't stay up or that bra you thought you wanted to hold your little bit of cleavage in place...
Honestly though... pick and choose your tortures, very few are actually required to be a woman.

Good point Davita. If you want to talk about torture I can tell you about how I wore a pair of heels that didn't fit quite well from Bulgaria to Wisconsin, and rubbed my feet so raw they bled for 2 weeks.
Or the time I was on a road trip and wore a badly fitting bra for 2 days straight with no chance to take it off once.
Suffering is just a part of being a woman, time to get used to it

Haha, the only time waxing hurts is on my feet! Epilating hurts too but I'm gonna wait until after my next waxing to do it again

Yesterday I wore a pair of pantyhose that would not stay up! I tell you it was embarrassing to know they were coming down. The worst part was they were pulling my panties down too!! To top it off I was in scrubs and I did have to go and adjust a few times in the restroom. I do not think anyone noticed but I felt weird.

I know how you feel Erica.
Occasionally I get a pair of pantyhose that won't stay up, and it's terrible. I never wear them a second time, that's for sure.
But I have several pair of sweater tights, and none of them stay up. But I like them and can't just throw them so I keep trying different ways to hold them up, none of which have worked yet. It's bad enough when you're wearing slacks, then it's just uncomfortable. But if you're wearing a skirt, there is nothing to stop them from going all the way down. So imagine, walking around in public with your tights slowly sinking, hoping that you can quickly find someplace to hide and fix them before they end up around your ankles. And you're just hoping that your skirt is long enough to disguise the trouble, and nobody notices.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH For love of the best tortures......
And one more.... Let's not forget the slip that just loves to peek no matter how you adjust it. Hey! Maybe I've been a true snow bunny after all! Ma'am ummmm.... it's snowing down south *giggle*

The slip that loves to peek, yes, and the bra straps that insist on falling down. And then if we want to discuss major disasters, we can talk about my hair, or lack of it, or feeble attempts to make it look like I have hair, or something. Trying to look nice is brutal, I wonder how painful it is to be successful at it.
