My femme week, part one

Well, so my wife went out of town for a week and a half, so I've been having fun en femme while she's gone. She knows about my dressing, but I'm rather restricted when she's around. Sadly work and some other stuff have interfered with me having a fully femme week, but oh well, enjoy it while I can, right? :)

I started out with a day of shopping. I went to some of my favorite places like JC Penney and Target. I bought two little black dresses, a sweater dress, 5 bras, two skirts, and three blouses. I had a blast and I don't think anyone actually made me; at least not enough to verbally laugh or stare too much. The biggest thing was that I gained confidence in my femme appearance.

Friday night, I headed to Denver for a meetup with some CD/TG gals from a local group. I actually had rented a hotel in the area so I didn't have to go and drive the long way home afterwards. I put on a red frilly silk top and a black skirt with my knee-high boots. I looked pretty hot. I showed up late to the fun, but there were still gals there dancing and partying. I chit-chatted with them until the club shut down. I then headed over to one couple's house and we chatted for another couple hours. It was a blast. Only downer for the night was I tried my luck again with fake nails; I don't think i'll be doing that again.

Saturday, I did some shopping. I bought a new winter femme coat because I knew it was going to snow (so glad I bought it). I visited DSW shoe warehouse. It was like a holy experience. I bought 5 pairs of heels for $72 from the clearance section. I would have probably bought more, but I would have bought more, but I had run up to my limit of funds. I then went home to feed the kitties and do some laundry.

Saturday night, I was supposed to meetup up with some more gals, but I got the time and place wrong. I first went to a place called BJ's Carosel. It had a drag show going on and several CD/TG people there, but it wasn't the right spot. I had a guy offer to buy me a drink, but I politely turned him down. I realized I had gone to the wrong place when no one looked familiar (and I checked the location again on my phone). I then went to the right place, but by the time I got there, the group had already dispersed. So as I was leaving, I slipped but didn't fall. A guy walking behind me started hitting on me, but I gave him a somewhat polite, "Thanks, but I'm not interested." I then went to meetup with the gals from Friday night at another bar. They were dressed up because it was a birthday party. I looked like I belonged with them because I was wearing one of my new little black dresses and some shoes I had picked up earlier that day. I had lots of fun, but I couldn't stay too late because of work.

So now I'm getting ready for work and I'll have to put off dressing much until Thursday. I'm going out shopping again then.

By the way, I've posted pictures of my outfits from Friday and Saturday night.

Wow, what a great post, Michelle. I can follow what you were doing easily. A bit unexpected to have guys hitting on you, but you handled that. I hate the falling part of the shoe experience; I've gone down twice, and caught myself a few other times.

I'm glad you're having fun Michelle. It's pretty funny, so many of consider vacation to be when everyone else is away and we can dress as we please. I've posted about a number of my staycations here over the years. Please keep us current and enjoy.

Glad you're having a good time, Michelle. Glad you have folks to hang out with too -- much more funner that way.

Now if you could just figure out how to rob Fort Knox so you don't have to worry about any shoe limits at DSW. If you get a chance, see what you can find is a Guess. They are my favorites because they seem to be a good fit and so far an all day heel. I had to return a shoe today and so I asked about eh G by Guess. it's a cheaper Guess, but sadly, they may have changed the fit.

So Michelle, you have a homework assignment to find out what you can from the DSW folks, about the G by Guess. Have more fun!
