Shopping spree

Today was the first time in a long time that I had the extra money to do some shopping. So I called one of the girls in my group and we agreed to meet to shop for clothes. I wore a pair of white jeans and a magenta top and my 2" black heeled sandals, bangle bracelets, heart shaped necklace, and my going out wig and polished my nails in a bright red nail polish.

We met up at 11:30 outside of an Applebees restaurant and drove to a Bells clearance outlet store. Inside the store I browsed around looking for new tops and skirts among the racks. None of the other women in the store paid any attention to me as I was one of them looking at clothes. I found 6 tops that I liked and 3 skirts. Paid for them without any second glances or comments from the cashier, other than " Did you find everything you wanted ".

We left that store, then went to the Bells outlet store where once again I walked around looking for clothes to buy. and like in the first store no one paid me no mind. I found two dresses that I had to have, one was a LBD and the other was a black & white jersey dress with 3/4 sleeves. I am wearing that dress now as I write this post. I also found 3 pair of shoes that I just had to have, one was a pair of pink low heel sandals, one was a pair of orange strappy 3" sandals, and the third was a pair of 3" beige heels. The best part of the beige heels was that they only cost me $.75 because there were scuff marks on the heel.

But the best was yet to come. When I went to check out, the cashier rang up my purchases, asked my for my credit card an I.D. I gave her my CC and showed her my I.D., then she said, " Oh this is your husbands credit card ", to which I said " No " this is my card. She then said " what ", and I again told her it was my card. Then she smiled and said " Oh ". She then rang up my purchases and said " Have a nice day ". I continued to walk around the store waiting for my girlfriend to finish shopping, when I went to where they had the jewelry. I picked up 2 cuff bracelets, one gold chain bracelet, a choker, and 3 other long neckllaces. I then returned to the same cashier to pay for them and all she did was smile again at me.

After shopping was done my girlfriend and I went to a local restaurant for a drink and were joined by my wife. We sat and chatted and had a couple of drinks, some calamari to eat, then we left to go home.

When I got home I tried everything I bought on, all fit nicely. The zipper on one skirt has to be replaced because it was broken, the other skirt I got a size to big ( 14 instead of a 12) and one blouse is a bit too tight. Other than that I am very pleased with my purchases today.

As I said earlier, I am in the new Black & White dress I bought today wearing one of my new cuff bracelets and one of my new necklaces and feeling very womanly. I haven't felt this good and feminine in such a long time that I wish I could do this everyday.

Charlee, I'm glad you had a great time. I don't think anyone would ever mistake me for a GG, but I don't care. The most important thing is to be yourself and enjoy.
=D> =D>

Kyra
