My evenings out

I must preface this by saying I am a senior citizen and have never in the past been a "party animal". So last week was in no way typical for me.

On Tuesday I put on a red, black, and white skirt with a black three quarter sleeve top and stappy silver 3" sandles. I picked up a fellow Forum member, Arlene, and headed to a Chicago restaurant. Down stairs they have a piano bar area where we joined twenty or so other ladies for dinner and drinks. The piano music was nice. We left about 11:30.

On Wednesday I joined four other ladies at a small bar for some food and drinks. Except for a few other patrons we were the only ones there. I wore the same outfit as yesterday. We shot some pool and played darts with four lesbians. They had so much fun that they wanted to know when we would be back so they could join us again. Some exchanged emails. I left about 1:30.

On Thursday I wore a black linen skirt with a lavender, black and white top with three quarter length sleeves and black 3" pumps. After pizza at a local family owned tratorria, I and two other ladies went to the meeting place of the Chicago Island Girls, a gay bar. It was kareoke night. I was a mazed at how good some of the singers were. One of the singers came up to me later in the evening and gave me the nicest compliment. He wanted to know if I was "a real girl". I leaned in close to him and said " only in my heart and in my mind." He smiled and walked back to his group. I and a couple other girls played pool and danced until we left at 1:30 A.M.

On Friday I wore a beautiful red knit dress with three quarter length sleeves. It had a scoop neck and came to about 3 inches above my knees. My shoes were satin black peep toe 3" slingbacks. I met six other ladies at a fancy restuarant in Chicago. After a fine meal we went to a club I had never been to before. This club was really fancy with three pool tables, a large bar and a big dance floor and a DJ. I got hit on three times by guys wanting me to dance. I politely turned them down. I loved the mirrors they had up everywhere. You could find any type of person there including straight, gay, lesbian, and transgendered. I had the most fun I have had in
a long time that night. I left at 2:00 A.M.

On Saturday I was grandpa to my two year old grandson. Talk about a turn around. But it was a great way to end a wonderful week.
