Black Friday as Steffie and lived to tell about it! :)

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! :)

I had wanted to dress on Thanksgiving but then my wife invited a couple of her friends over and I had to stay in male mode most of that day. :(

During Thursday evening (start of Black Friday), my wife then went shopping with her friends. I didn't go with them in male mode but decided to have my own little outing as Steffie. So after they left, I got ready. Nothing fancy, just a pair of jeans, black boots and a black top. I got at the mall about 11 PM and saw this long line just to get in! It opened at midnight. Luckily I had a cardigan sweater and light pink vest to wear while I was in line. Once I finally got into the mall, I was able to shed the sweater and vest and kept them in my car. I then proceeded to browse the mall. I got some clothes for my wife. During this time, I found a couple of long sleeve tops for me too as well as a cute bracelet and maybe discovered a new look to add: at Charlotte Russe I noticed a combo scarf and beret. I couldn't resist the silver color and got them. I also got a matching black bright scarf-beret plus I found a cute pink beret. I modeled it when I got home, incorporating it into my pics just to see how it would look. Finally I also found a cute pair of leopard print booties which I just couldn't resist! :)

I got home by 6 AM, grabbed some sleep and in afternoon went to Greenville at Macy's. I wore a different pair of jeans with a red top and light brown winter boots. At Macy's I found a good winter coat for my wife (a winter coat was one of the things she asked for). I also found for me a cute pair of cute gray knee high boots for me at Payless.

I've never seen so many long lines though but I survived and lived to tell about it! LOL You should have seen people just literally grab things when the store opened. I tried to stay away from that mob. LOL

All in all it was a good two part day. :) I found all bargains and got to get my Christmas shopping done! :)

Mmmm shopping :)
To bad we don't have something like that.
