Going out dressed tonight for the first time

For those of you who've read my other posts, you'll know that I recently came out to my wife which has opened the door to truly explorer the true feminine me. Tonight I'm going to a party being held by a local CD dress. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to meet other gurls and be able to leave the house and be dressed en femme.

I've put together a killer outfit. Nice sexy dress, thigh highs from VS, spiky heels, new bra and panties along with some jewelry and hair pieces. I'm getting my nails and make up done professionally prior to the party. I'm so excited, I can't wait!!

Will post after the party and let you know how it goes and possibly some pics if they come out good.

Congratulations on being able to go out dressed for the first time tonight. Will your wife be going to the party with you?

Are you going to the party in your "Nice sexy dress ..." for yourself or to attract someone?

Regardless, I would recommend caution as to your proposed attire. While you want to look nice for the party your clothes should not send the wrong signals or attract unwanted/unwarranted attention, especially when you are going to "meet other gurls" who are, for the most part, complete strangers.

In other words, sometimes a "nice sexy dress" is better worn at home or for a date night/evening out with just your SO, but it's not necessarily a 'party dress' . . . and yes, there is a big difference between the two.

I'm kind of surprised the better half didn't say anything about the outfit. I'm not sure "sexy" is the best first impression. Also, if you've never been out before, do you need to be so conspicous?
