Alexandra asked me to write a little about my corset and the figure it provides etc.
Even as a child I have always been attracted to corsets. Just something about this garment that that I like. I have searched for years trying to find one and gave up ever finding one until the internet arrived. I did the usual thing of buying many off the rack ones only to be disappointed with the fit. They usually ended up taking space in the drawer and not getting worn. :x
Then I stumbled upon Wasp Creations. www.waspcreations.com Amy Crowder is the brains behind this business as she too seached in vein to find a corset as well. She ended up making her own and building a nice business from it. I contacted her and had one built. I loved it so much and it was so comfy that I started wearing it many hours each day...even to business meetings!
When I started I had a 33" waist from the many years of shuffling papers and could only tighlace down to 29". My ribs would feel like they were one fire from the tension and inflexibility of these old bones. But little by little they became more flexible...making the time wearing it more pleasurable.
Shortly thereafter I decided to get on a exercise regime and started losing some excess lbs. to make me healthier and regain that once 29" waist I had long ago. As the months went by I found myself losing those inches and the coset fitting very loosely. I craved the tight feeling and so I had smaller and smaller ones made as the inches melted away. That was two years ago and I am within 1" of my goal.
Even at a 30" waist I am able to tightlace down to 25" and go all day this way. Clubbing, work, whatever. The feeling is intoxicating and the constant hug is wondeful. My goal is to be able to lace down to 24" from my 29" goal. Always have to have a brass ring to reach for.
As for my feminine look it is something that just makes me look all that much better. I wasn't blessed with fine features so I make up for it any where I can. I was blessed with my mothers hips and my dimensions are like this. 38-25-39. Add this to long legs and you have it....Francine!
I must say that loosing wieght and trying to get the right fit for a corset is not the right way to do this. It is expensive and sometimes frustrating. Amy and I have had many discussions on the phone and she has helped me find the right fit. One in particular was the pinched nerve that I had experienced on my right hip while wearing the corset. Amy has come to the conclusion that men need a little more room in this hip area so not to put pressure on the nerve. My new corset fits perfectly and even when tightlaced to the max 24" fits like a glove and feel great. The corset I currently wear is plain white with no frills. I had to find the right dimensions and fit before spending money foolishly. No that I have found the right fit I can go for the frills. That is soon to come.
A good custom fit corset is not cheap!
Any one reading this can obtain the same results I have. It just takes determination and hard work.
