Since COVID, these meetings are few and far between, but when they have them, there is always a good batch of nice people or is it a nice batch of good people. We were nine from various offices including someone's young daughter and then there was this old retired lady. There was shop talk but mostly gossip about their managers with some personal life events mixed in the various conversations.

I knew some folks and we seem to always get a new face. Going through the greetings I noticed most of us girls got the maroon memo. Myself, I had a print skort and a solid puff sleeved top. I was going to wear wedges, but I was running out of time looking for the right pair and wound up in my tried and true pink and white Skechers. How the heck we girls "just know" the color of the day I find fascinating.

*sigh* No idea when we will have the next one. Hopefully soon. This girl can use more time out with her buds.

I never seem to get the memo, I'm always the one that shows up in a print sundress when everyone is wearing jeans and t shirts

I'd just tell folks I got the "look good" memo, Diana. Bad me is always checking out the leggings of the other girls in my various classes. Only once did two of us wind up with a very similar print. I have no solid black leggings.

On a very old day ages ago at the office, two of us girls opted to wear very similarly colored and styled outfits then we panned for who could get the most compliments that day.

Our off sites have us girls wearing all kinds of looks rarely depending on the time of day. We come from home, our offices and our moods for our looks that day. This past meeting was lunch time and again, we had that mix except we were color coordinated.
