New phrase

During the morning of our most recent Melbourne t girls get together (see Merinda's account of the evening on this forum) I began thinking just how much I was looking forward to it.
Then it came to me - I wouldn't miss it for all the petticoats in Paris!
Think that saying could catch on girls?

Have a ball and see if you can get Merinda out of her shell
and make sure that she has adequeate ID, she looks like she is only 13!!
As for the petticoats, I have heard that French woman do not wear any underwear!!??

Virginia: Back in the early 70's the Very Northern Italian young ladies did not wear any. An when I ask why was told that they did not want to show Panty lines in their jeans and dresses. Gee.
