How will I look?

Post by Virginia »

Well, I did it - at least the deposit is in the mail! I am in the process of buying a motorcycle. Hey, I heard on the news last night that gas prices could very easily double again by summer, that's almost $5.00 a gallon???
Anyway, I think I may be all right, since I shave all over and if this facial beard removal process works, I will just have to find a wig that won't come off when I take my helment off. Can you imagine sitting around on your bike with a bunch of bikers and taking your helment off and there in your helment is your hair????
Any of you ride a bike en femme???? :-k :-k :-k . Since we have the Blue Ridge Parkway right at my backdoor, well it is going to be interesting.
Love,
Virginia

Not me. Had enough bike wrecks on a regular bicycle, one on a motor bike would be much worse.

Virginia,

I've owned a motorcycle for a few years now. Mostly use it for commuting and Fall trips to the Parkway when the leaves change color. If you haven't done so, please take one of the courses offered by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Many community colleges offer them on weekends. Definitely worth the time, especially if you haven't rode ever/in a while. As has been said ad infinitum, the real danger in riding a motorcycle is the automobile drivers around you.

A "biker chick rally" (so to speak) on the BRP would be a lot of fun! Shouldn't be hard to find enough interested ladies in the Virginia/NC region. Can you imagine making a trip to Daytona or one of the other Bike Weeks with a bunch of t-girls? I know it would be VERY ill-advised, given the attitude of the average attendee, but it would probably be a blast otherwise. Guess you'd call them "Hell's Trannies" :) or somesuch.

As always, Virginia, you've started a most intriguing discussion thread.

Take Care,
Angie
