Invited to a Bridal Shower Enfemme - GG input is helpful

A GG friend of mine is having a bridal shower next weekend, and she invited Lorna!!

Basically my question is this: what's the protocol for a bridal shower? I've been to my share of weddings & such, and bachelor parties en drab, but in terms of the bridal shower, do I bring a gift to that as well, in addition to the official wedding gift? I'm totally clueless on this one as I have obviously never attended the "bridal shower".

Any TGs out there who would know, please feel free to chime in as well. :-k

Shower gifts are separate. Something appropriate or fun for the bride. http://weddings.about.com/cs/gifts/tp/bridegifts.htm

Wedding gifts are for both, bride and groom.

So, yes, gifts are appropriate for both occasions.

rotf rotf rotf That's great, hon!!

I could probably present a joke gift first & then after the shock wears off, present the real one... who knows? We'll see... she knows I'm into comedy...

Hi Lorna,

So I totally read that wrong. I thought it said wedding instead of Bridal Shower. That is sooo coool!!! :) I've never heard of anyone who wasn't a born GG being invited to a bridal shower when it was all GGs. =D>
