Finally went to the beach! :)

Post by Steffie »

Hi girls,

On the spur of the moment (literally last second), I took off from work today and decided to go to the beach. It was such a beautiful day and I had been wanting to go to the beach as Steffie.

I wanted a mainstream beach; so I chose Atlantic City. I wore my pink bikini and had a wonderful time. No problem at all fitting in. :) One 13-14 yr old girl even smiled at me and remarked: "You have a nice outfit." :) I even went under the waves once. I also lied on the beach like the other girls and got a tan.

After a while I decided my male side wanted to swim (and be submerged). So I went back to my car, took off my makeup and changed into my swimming trunks and came back to swim. People looked at me as male pretty much the same as when I was Steffie (in other words it was uneventful). :)

After swimming for a couple of hours, I then showered off on the beach in my trunks (using soap), went back to my car and put my make-up, perfume, etc. back on and got dressed as Steffie for the evening. I had dinner and browsed around the casino. I even snuck in a video. After dinner I left for home.

Now I can say that Steffie was on a mainstream beach. Plus my male half got to swim and have some fun too. :)

Steffie

I'm working on pictures today, so I will try to dig some up. The trouble with being the photographer (or perhaps its best aspect) is that I'm always taking the pictures, and hence, there are few of me. But I've got the 1,000+ I took last week in LA, and when I'm done archiving them, I will see what I have.

Steffie , =D> =D> =D>

I have wnted to do that for so long

Unfortunatly the thought of driving through heavy traffic for 1 & 1/2 hours to get there is not my cup of tea.

the wig?

Post by Darlene »

Congrats Steffie on a great day at the beach. I noticed Tekla mentioned she did something similar without changing. May I ask, how did you keep the wig on? I have always wanted to do the swim thing enfemme but could not figure out how to do the wig and deal with the makeup issue? Any suggestions?

Hugs...

Hi Darlene,

As long as the band is tight, the wig stays on. The makeup foundation I use is waterproof (Revlon) and as long as you don't submerge your face, it should be OK.
