I debated where to put this. Fun or Clothes, so I flipped a coin and fun won. So will it be to the wood shed with me, and looking where I am going this time.

I just got this in the mail yesterday:

LB is having a Cacique Bra Fit Event Oct 5 and 6, 2007 at any Lane Bryant or Cacique store. And if I remember correctly it is also buy one get one for half off.

If you are skiddish. Call ahead and ask when would be a good time for a CDer to come in. I have found early in the day soon after stores open, especially during the week, are usually slower times for most stores. Also often the last 1-2 hours before closing can be slow times also, especially Sunday-Thursday nights.

Many other stores do Bra Fit Events or sales also through out the year. So do not be limited to these two days or these stores. Most good full or limited service lingerie stores and store departments will do a bra fitting upon request.

The tough part is you need to ASK!!!

The worse they can say is no, but I have yet to have that happen. And they may ask you to come back at a time that is easier for them or when fewer GG customers are around. But I also have this yet to happen. We do need to keep their other customers in mind and be considerate when we are doing this.

From the LB web site:

"Free bra fittings

Don't be one of the millions of women who wear the wrong bra size! Get a free bra fitting at your Lane Bryant or Cacique store today."

I have heard numbers from over half to 80 percent of gals are wearing the wrong size of bra. No wonder so many gals hate their bras. And I would guess even more guys/cders are wearing the wrong size bra.

But for those who've been yearning to do so, I just want to let you know the world may not be as scary a place as you think.

Kimberly, this topic seems at home here, so no problem.

I had an awesome 2 hour bra-fitting session with a young sales girl in a Sears store earlier this year. While most stores are more accommodating in the off peak hours, many stores do have private change rooms. I had booked my appointment courtesy of a TG event that weekend which she also attended as part of a workshop, so it was easier, but provided a wonderful experience I'll never forget. She was great, running back and forth for all kinds of styles and sizes. Just chatting with her about bras (and other girlstuff) was great and gave me an idea of what worked and what didn't. I was also able to learn my correct size. Wearing a bra that fits the way it's supposed to makes all the difference in the world. So as Kimberly says, the worse they can do is say no, but you'll never know unless you ask.
