Out below the radar...
Ok...no make up or ear rings, did not carry a purse, left it in the car...hidden of course on the floor, but had on a hidden necklace, watch, bracelet, men's polo under a men's sweatshirt but Bra with gel inserts, panties, Lady's 30 Medium straight leg jeans with a little flourish on the hip pockets, white lady's Asics running shoes with lavender trim, and lady's ankle socks. Secret deodorant....so pretty stealthy but mostly crossdressed.
Drove to the Bank to make an installment on my son's car, one more payment, and then to the Tax Collector's office to stand in line and pay my property taxes, then home. Oh my son's fiancee was here for lunch...neat thing is feeling and dressed feminine like any other woman I just went and took care of business without a worry in the world.
Is that cheating? I did have my purse in the car.... So ya see!?
Those who are deep in the closet...you can get out of the house. Not one person batted an eye, if anyone noticed no one reacted in any way or said a word...Isn't that the world we are always dreaming about in our head that some believe is just a fantasy? Well, It's not...Suppose I had on a lady's polo with the Right over Left overlap at the collar. under the sweatshirt no one would have noticed at all...I should have. Many sweatshirts sold in women's departments would be indestinguishable as well so really while not technically fully crossdressed...I was.
Oh and women's clothing comes in navy blue, black, white, red, olive green too...oh but so do men's clothing! And you do not have to wear pink, pale pastel blues, yellow, light green...but you could. with ear rings and nail polish...and carrying the purse but then you would not be in stealth mode. meh!

You have done it again Anne! Over the last couple of weeks I have been considering going real casual with a sports themed tee shirt, baseball hat, jeans, and sneakers. A little make up and a wig, and without pierced ears earings are a problem. I am definately going to look at ladies sneakers and will let you know how I do. Absoutely, Go with the flow!!

Is it cheating? Nawww.
So long as you are feeling the feeling, everything is by the rules.

I agree with Kelly. While it may be risky leaving your purse in the car, even hidden, it certainly isn't cheating. It's your level of comfort. Interestingly, since my wife is having trouble walking and standing up, when we are out and she is getting out of the car I take her purse so her hands are free. A lot of times I keep it with me slung over my shoulder. We joke with people that I look way too comfortable with a purse. But the other day she put it down and I told her I would have to keep my purse attached at al times or I would forget it.

Re: Out below the radar...
My gender flows back and forth...I could have worn a woman's polo I have several, but need a sweat shirt made for women too...it would be just a sizing thing really because there would be little difference in style. Just the fact that it is made for women so I am not cross dressing when my gender is on the feminine side...so I will have to look though our winter is really only 2 month's long before spring starts here on the coast in the deep south. My comfort level for going out would be a Navy, or an olive, or brown...over the lt green, pale blue, pale yellow, white or black the last two are just preference for navy etc...

Re: Out below the radar...
Hi,
Okay I,ll play with this as a bit of fun ,Oh dear now a whole lot of things going on in my mind ,this refers only to me ,
yesterday
okay, whats a dresser , well some one who does not know the difference and wears any thing .
Overalls well used and paint on them sneakers and paint on, sun hat yeap with paint .....tops shorts all with you know what , plus earings neckless lippy eye linner , oh hang, on had a phone call a friend is coming with in 15 min,s , change of clothes then same sneakers in to a work skirt yes with your most wonted word paint on ,and a clean sun hat redo lippy and eye linner , all ready , to greet my friend , as I was painting I carried on till she arrived then that was it for work time and then spent time with my friend,
Unbeknown to me she told me while they were driving down from Nelson in a camper van it got the wobbles = wind = and ended up on the side of the road and rather damaged so was scuttled ,
her partner went home so I wont see him till next wensday at camp my friend is a muso like myself so she is at the Waitaki Boys School with many from Christchurch who are muso,s and on sunday I,ll meet with them, did say hi to a few when I took my friend to school yesterday , they have a get together every year for 4 days of music wind and string
I,v played there as well for one of our concerts ,
Oh yea dressing , at camp I,ll be dressed as normal =,,, as a wench going and coming home I don't take any other clothes other than my garb , Renaissance as you know , Gee you know what,
what would be neat is for you all to see us in our finery all dressed and at camp .better still come over .
So I spos im saying the fun part is it does not matter what I wear or where I go though really im dressed as who I am just some clothes have more meaning than what we would call mundane clothes , so what you may call dressing up is just normal,
whats the right words to explain this , I don't have to think will people look at myself = yes of cause they do , do I have to worry about being known or seen as every one will know who I am no matter the clothes . just the freedom of this is the real life and the real person , what im saying is doing something a little different puts you in a..... stand out .....and maybe alone yet you get known for who you are..... , I also know with out a doubt that you be friendly to people and talk with them you can put them at ease and next time you have already established a friendship that is based on not what you wear its on who you are as a person ,
The reason I say this is because I wear so many different styles of clothes people expect it and would find it far harder for myself not to ,so have fun .... oh yea .

Re: Out below the radar...
I think at some time or another we have all gone out "under the radar" as you call it Anne. I can understand why many girls do it as for them it may be their only way to express their feminine side and all I can say is "You go Gilr!"
I do have to agree that leaving your purse in the car is dangerous. At least lock it up in the trunk where it is out of any potential view. A girl can't be too safe these days.

Re: Out below the radar...
On days that I don't shave I go out in woman's jeans(Riders), A loose pull over, knee highs and woman's loafers. I am under dressed of course. Instead of a 44c bra I'll come down to a 44a with enhancers, cami and panties, I have 3 ear piercings so I wear 2 small hoops and a tiny cross, light pink or clear nail polish. I have yet to have a raised eyebrow or comment except that the girls love my nails. For me it is just a band aid that helps me thru the day. So be comfy Ann!
I believe I was a lesbian in my past life

Re: Out below the radar...
All of you are wonderful. Yes we need to just become accustomed to wearing whatever we please and in time those who care to get to know us will not mind...A Renaissance dress sounds like fun...I do have a rather long dress in a navy blue the stitching designs and the fabric is rather ornate but it is all dark blue and I can pull the sleeves off the shoulder, has a mock corset lacing up the front and a tie in the back.
Today I am "enhomme" because my sons are home influencing me and because until I start as now thinking more about it more on the masculine side of my gender...but now it is stirring which would lead me into changing but I have to go to the commissary.
Yes, we should dress as we please and go...I will carry my purse or lock it up in the trunk. I did carry my purse when I went in to get more bed pads for my wife...no one batted an eye.

Re: Out below the radar...
I know Midievel, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Neoclassical, and modern music. I have always enjoyed music and when I was younger learned guitar tabulature so that I could play Renaissance pieces as this is when the lute was the primary instrument...I even built a lute and still have it up atop a china cabinet on display but the pegs tend to loosen more than modern geared pegs, and the strings are lighter and finding strings for it has proven to be nearly impossible because the strings are very light.... I do not play much anymore so purchasing a better lute does not make sense. I have a nice classical guitar and with different tunings for some of the pieces it works. But I do not have the drive it takes to improve and become a true musician which I certainly do not claim to be...I just dink around and fight my way at a rather acceptable pace through sections of the scores. oh well....
What is muso? I am unfamiliar with that term...is it an Aussie slang term?
I believe I would love to wear a woman's kit from the 16th century long skirt, white open top with the corset up the front, white stockings and shoes, no idea what goes underneath but bet i would really enjoy having flowing locks, make up and jewelry on and learning some of the jigs and dances of that period...Anne Bonny was a female pirate of the Caribbean who dressed as a man so she could go pirating as women were not allowed aboard a ship...bad luck. but of course there were female passengers... just not crew.
Sounds like a bit of fun...you do this out in the wilds? or do you go to a building or dance hall somewhere for your get togethers?

Hi Anne,
Backlands some bush more farming and grapes its our Boys Bragade camp at waipara its becoming a North Canterbury winery check it on the map north of Chrischurch 15 mins north of Amberly in the south isl , I,ll be there this Wensday
muso, short for musician = slang .
I wont wear those styles of clothes because I would not give it Justus facial features my friends do, what I will and do is Renaissance and make my garb =clothes plain , well maybe a little more than just plain I know what suits me and looks right so in a way im fussy, yet get good comments , so it works well ,
being the boys camp yes they have large buildings and dorms we could have 500 people with out an issue the buildings hold in the bunk rooms some 100 people and most camp in tents or campers .
The river I knew about in 1958 is still running and can be used for swimming ,
You can wear what ever with in the times of 1400 to 1700 , and yes includes your style , as for music yes you would do well with what you know one member makes flutes and some like from Arabia and sounds like it as well , quite different food you may find that very different he He ....oh yea ,yet still good takes a day or two to settle in, plenty of meat just no yummy tomatoe sauce .
just a little about us lot . a lute sounds neat oh you said strings would piano strings work or not fine enough just wondering as I striped one down ? .
