Hi Ringo...
For years I have struggled with the denials of my unyielding need to dress as a Woman. I have no idea where it came from, and now that I have opened doors to my inner feelings, I have no idea where it is going...but I do know, that I am not really in charge, increasingly pushing boundaries far beyond my pre-conceived perception of "Horizon". I think we all do that...finding your self, is the ultimate answer.

I agree with seeking the assistance of a professional. There are all kinds of Counselors, Therapists, and Psychiatrists and other "specialists" that are listed in the book or on the internet. I strongly suggest you seek someone that has experience and expertise in your issues....like ours.

As I became more comfortable with who I am becoming, I got tangled in the emotional and biased expectations of a label. What am I ? ( and , why am I called "that"...?)So, I conducted a lot of research and found a " Cross-dresser / Trans-gender" specialist that seemed to fit my needs. I have been seeing him 2-3 times a month on average, spending days and sometimes weeks between sessions, thinking about our conversations. Like Lawyers and Plumbers, they have a price for their services, and I think mine is really reasonable at $85 USD per hour. In the 4 months I have pursued this, I have come a long, long way...in recognizing, accepting, and embracing, the real "me". Professional guidance, will help. I promise.

When you consider this, please remember everything you discuss is confidential unless you confess to murder or serious contemplation of one. ( that is Florida law and I'm told, a pretty universal standard) I have found a lot of small things for me, add up to big issues...my cross to bear, but having the guidance and support of an non-biased, non-judgmental professional, has helped me in a lot of ways. Even the opportunity to bear my soul to my innermost secrets buried under a lifetime of alibi's to someone who understands me and has my best interest a heart, has given me the courage and recognition of the attainable pursuit of happiness and the real emotions of self-fulfillment thru expression of the "feminine" inside me. These issues are important , and can be chaotically powerful, confusing and conflicting...

Please...don't suffer in silence. Take the time and effort to find a professional that can assist you in finding yourself and who you are, and will be. And...forget the label. Labels don't really matter or apply to many of us. We "are" who we are, and will be what we become, as our needs, emotions and circumstances evolve, colored by the decisions we make. Some of those...are out of our hands. Some good guidance and support can make a World of difference in the evolution of the "real" you...and how you find it.

I'm looking forward to seeing you "happy"...within yourself. You don't have to wear a "label" to be happy with and within, yourself.
Best Wishes, Ringo.
