I know how to walk like a monkey....just kidding, I mean I can...I can even put my tongue under my upper lip and pull my ears out and make monkey sounds....hahahahahah....

Oh well. I have noted women again not walking heel to toe to heel to toe...the feet are side my side, stride a little shorter and spaced within a few inches of where the other foot came down but I imagine women walk in all kinds of ways some even walk like men and some walk like they are on a runway for a fashion show but I doubt they do this all the time...come on!

Some do swing their arms from the elbow, some don't

I think it is unreasonable to stereotype and say ALL women do X when they don't, but it is true in general women do tend to walk differently it is just hard to characterize into a runway walk and swinging from the elbows and say all women walk this way all the time because they don't.

Oh...wanna make sure I am being light heart ed absolutely no intention to be mean or to hurt anyone. Hey I do believe voice feminization is valid for post op transexuals and any who feel the need to do so and I know It is not all that difficult to learn to talk naturally a couple octaves higher...C3 range on a guitar tuner not too high but not too low either. I do believe changing your walk happens and most all of us stop bounding around with large strides and arm swinging motions and by slowing down a little also not too difficult. So...but you can be too extreme with this and then stick out like a sore thumb because it is so unnatural.

When i first started dealing with this issue i was all over the web looking for ideas on how to walk feminine.I was never happy with the results.Use the information you find as a guide! the true solution comes from yourself. When i decided to trust and believe in myself, learning how to walk, talk and act feminine came so much easier.Remember!! unless your a great actor, the best results come from how you are inside. ❤

People seem to mention the tightrope thing a lot. This seems to be dependent a lot on shoes. If you're wearing pumps, then yes, tightrope. However, if a woman is wearing sneakers or other more casual shoes, she will likely walk in a more masculine way. Also worth mentioning is the fact that unless you've got a pretty girlish proportion (i.e. not a linebacker build), the perfect walk may not be your highest priority.

Another thing I've found helpful in "walking the walk" is to put a Kotex pad in your panties. No, I'm not talking about some of the thin wimpy pads out there, but rather the big thick "overnight" ones. This will make you do the hip swivel (an important part of "the walk"), and as an added bonus it will let you enjoy the pad at the same time. You can do this all in public and nobody will be any the wiser!

enjoy,
Deb

Women have a natural walk and can have a sexy, model walk. Most women even in heels do not walk like a model. But women walk with a more narrow gate, a lot of it has to do with how their body is shaped and where they carry their weight. Women carry more weight from waist down, booty and hips. Most males carry more weight from waist up stomach, chest, shoulders. Men walk wider gate to carry their top heavy type load. Women walk the narrow gate to keep a lower load more controllable. But men tend to walk leading with their knees and firmly plant both of their feet in a more flatter/shallower heel toe style. Picture an upside down triangle and in your mind attach legs and feet to it. You see if a walk is very narrow in gate, it will cause the triangle top side to not be as stable. Now picture more wider gate in the attached legs to said upside down triangle, thus carrying the top side load more straight down and thus more stable. Men have to plant their feet more firmly and less accentuated in a heel and toe manner.

Now picture a conventional triangle and attach legs to it in your mind. The gate will be narrower as the gate does not have to be wider than the top side now of the triangle. The weight of the triangle is at the hips and booty which allows more of a swaying gate that women tend to do more like. Women tend to walk with their thighs leading and their hips following through, then the knees, calves and feet swinging forward and planting each step in a more pronounced heel and toe especially in high heels.

Men in high heels can look even more manly in walking as the heels shift the upper body weight forward, giving a feeling of falling forward and thus the male in heels will widen and stiffen his gate, clod hoping his feet like a work horse. This failure to walk feminine is a dead give away to a man in a dress no matter how naturally feminine his face may be, nor how good his makeup, hair and type of dressing is.

Women tend walk shoulders back, bust out especially in heels. This keeps the forward shift in weight from the heels further back and more inline with their booty, add they lead with their thighs and the rest of their walk follows through and as such they can heel toe more gracefully. Women also swing their arms more for added balance unless holding a hand bag or purse. Men less so swing arms.

IMO women who have trouble in heels and funnily a lot of Youtube videos on such is as because of these reasons.

1: They never learned to wear and walk in heels as a teenage girl. The lack of true femininity (as it's seen as weak by our cough cough feminist society. BTW it's not, true femininity is a very powerful thing for females who see and use it as such) in modern, western world is a reason why many girls do not learn heels at a formative age, puberty/teen years.

2: Some women have a more male/boyish like body and heels to them can be like heels to men. While these gals like men are not skilled in wearing and walking in them with a weight distribution more like a mans.

3: Weak ankles, sadly many women have weak ankles and you see it when they try to walk in heels. Again Youtube videos show this and watching these as a dude who has no problems in heels, it makes me worry about these women hurting themselves when ankles give out in their heels. I have heels up to 6.5inches with 1.5 inch plats and they are no problem for me as I have stronger ankles. Women with weak ankles should start out with lower heels first say 2.5-3 inches to relearn how to walk in such heels and to get their balance right even with weak ankles. Better balance will overcome weaker ankles. Then move up to party heels at 4-5+ inches if they like. Accomplished heel wearing women can navigate well in SKY HIGH HEELS! Even I get blown away by them and they do so on unstable surfaces such as cobblestones and gravel or slick surfaces such smooth as glass floors. :please:

Ok so my tips based on my many years of heels and walking in them .

1: Start out lower, since most males have larger feet a 4 inch heel will arch up much like a 3 inch heel on a typical women's foot. So if you are a dude new to heels and maybe a more mature dude who has say 30-40-50 years of a male walking gate, you may want to start out lower, less than 4 inches.

2: Buy proper sized heels, BTW that means you too ladies who many feel they can take their natural size 8 feet and cram on size 6 shoes. Then they cry heels are too painful, DO YA THINK SO!?! :sigh: Too big is not good either as you lose support of your foot in shoe. But I have heels that fit me nicely and I can wear them all day without any discomfort. I have cheaper quality heels that feel cheap though, even if they fit ok.

3: Ok, stand in your heels, shoulders back, chest out and ta da you will no longer feel as if you are about to fall forward and on your face.

4: Now forget the model walk of over exaggerated feminine gate. Walk forward but try to lead with your thighs, you will notice you hips will follow through and your knees will more or less swing forward, your foot will carry on with such and remember to plant each heel, GRACEFULLY ^^_|| first then end each step with your toes. Try not to worry about a narrow gate for now. Get your balance and posture right first. Back in the day when girls were taught to be ladies ***()*** they had deportment training with things like a book on their head as they walked like young ladies. @@9@@

5: Keep doing number 4 until you can walk and not feel as if you will fall forward or down.

6: Next, getting a more feminine, aka, narrow gate. Now you can play with the model walk with the over exaggerated walk of foot following in narrow to even cross over style. You now have the leading with your thighs going well and the exaggerated model style walk will have you sensing the narrower gate that most women have. So be silly in your heels and walk, walk, walk the exaggerated model walk until you are no longer even thinking about it. NOW STOP! Then relax the gate to a more natural, ladylike gate that is narrow but not exaggerated, nor is it a clod hopping male gate anymore.

7: Now go get your or buy your party shoes or boots and strut in them sky high 4-5-6+ inch heels, and have fun. Super tall heels may not be daily wear but they really bring out the girl in you and for me are a sense of feminine and sexy accomplishment. To be able to strut around in any of my heels no matter how high or what design they are is such a thrill and a sexy feeling the for me. :teddybear: :coffee: :sigh:
