Meeting others!

Post by Victoria K. »

OMG! I feel that i am living in a dream when i go out! but it's not a dream.Went out last night to a gay bar that holds LGBT events and again had such a wonderful time.Met many CrossDressers, Transgenders and gays and ended up partying with a group young Lesbian gals in a more private lower level. They took me as one of their own and i felt so alive and happy to be there.I did not tell them i was trans and no one asked. Was told by some that i was the best dancer they have ever seen and loved what i wore.If this life of mine is a dream!! i never want to wake up. ❤

Congrats, Victoria! Do you go out much? It must be a huge thrill to be in public where you feel like you belong there. Gay/lesbian bars are very accepting of cd's and trans. Other than sports bars, hubby and girlfriends are comfortable at most mainstream bars and restaurants. You'll get to the same confidence soon enough.

Thank you Eileen I have the same results at non-LGBT places i visit. I believe its how you present yourself! believe in who you are and others will take you as you are also.I never tell anyone i am trans unless they ask or i feel like a relationship might happen.I go out at least once a week to dance and socialize.

When i meet others! it's about being myself and getting the respect i feel and deserve. It is not a beauty contest or a popularity contest!I get flattered at times, or hurt! but nothing strange with that! it is all part of being the woman that i am.

When still married, my ex and I used to frequent a lesbian bar/club in the Miami Fl. area. They did not welcome men there but were open to gurls especially if accompanied by a GG. We almost always ended up with a table full of people and always enjoyed ourselves there. I was treated exactly as I wanted to be treated as just one of the girls.

Wonderful to be able to just be who you are especially fitting in with other women and to be accepted. I imagine all of us would be delighted I can only say that I seem to have found acceptance at least in my own home with women who do not seem to see any problem with who I am.
