Ha! I have not spent the money to have a new interior installed and paint but I did have duel Carbs installed which brought it up to European standards, with an oil cooler it has a lot more umph and pep but still it is an antique so I kiss the ground when I arrive home. My wife used to sit there hair blowing, sunglasses on and I would look over and she had the biggest grin. For $1500 it was worth it. In high School I inherited my sister's Triumph Herald and my dad had friends send parts from england for me to spruce it up a bit, new carpet, top, brit logo flags for the rear side marker lights and a new grommet for the shift stick. Served me well in High School. When I got a mechanical book on it I learned it was built on the frame of the Spitfire and then I wanted one. Well, now I have one in my garage but it is strictly for joy rides, semi retired as a near museum piece...to represent all the junk cars ever produced lol.
Go with the flow

Yes!!! A Red Miata is the best chic car! I wish I had one. Great choice! Hope you have fun in the summer driving. You should dress in white capri pants, floral print top tied up at the waist, high heeled sandals, dark ladies sunglasses, and a scarf on your head. The Jackie O look. See it could be a "goal" not a "fantasy."

Again, great choice and hope you have fun with it!

Only when I drive my wife's car, and then I usually have one or both of the grandchildren in the car. (It is the car with the child seats fitted for the children). Offcourse I am in male attire.

how do you define "chick car". I thinks all a matter of taste. I drive a 95 Lincoln mark 8 . Haven't the heart to get rid of it. never has seen winter. Have another vehicle that I drive every day . 2010 focus. I also have 2007 mustang GT which is my girlie car. and besides you bought what you wanted. it has to please you and nobody else
