Since joining this little group I have learned so much about our lifestyle. There were times that I thought that I was a freak of nature. As the internet opened up a new view to me, I thought that I had to become like the "others". I now find that there are others that think just like me. You have shared your thoughts and hearts to reveal an inside that shows me that there is nothing new under the sun. We are all alike in so many ways. I just want to express myself in a different way from the usual and this forum has allowed it to happen. We all have our own particular story, some sweet and some full of hardship, yet there is a sense of kinship that I have rarely seen in a world of "men". I have often prefered the company of the gentler folk due to a lack of understanding and good communication within my birth gender. Maybe if more crossdressing happened we would have a gentler and more peaceful world. Again thank you very much.
PS I'm a lumberjack and that's Ok!

Great post, Glyn. I too have found that transgender/transsexual/CD people are the best friends I've ever had, both here and out in the world.

HI Glyn,

You are so right! The internet has been a true lifesaver for a lot of us. I often think of the girls that came before us and like you expressed, felt like a freak, but had nowhere to turn. This forum saved my pert little behind and introduced me to my soul mate (SL), and I have had the privilege of meeting several of our sisters who participate here and that is a wondrous thing as well.

Love you all!

Virginia

I only wish that the information was around in 1955 as it was my starting point and who knows where Carol would have went or done. :-k

Hi all,

Great post, Glyn. And so true.

For those of you unfamiliar with the allusion to lumberjacks, you can catch up on it here: Monty Python's Lumberjack Song It's a classic!

Love,
