My Nail Salon incident

Yesterday I went to my Nail Salon and got a Pedicure/Fill/Manicure/EyeBrow Wax. She did my nails and then seated me in the pedi chair to do my toes. Sense I was wearing a dress, she draped a towel across my knees, like she does for all female customers that are wearing a dress or skirt. Everything was going nicely until she got up to get the wax and hot stones. Then I happen to notice this gentleman across from me, who was also getting a pedicure. We made eye contact and all of a sudden he looks away and would no longer look in my direction. I thought this was odd until I happen to notice that the towel across my knees had shifted upward and my legs were a somewhat apart. Then the thought crossed my mind, “Was he trying to look up my dress?” For the rest of the time I was in the Pedi chair I made sure the towel was covering and my knees were close together.
Trying to look up a girls dress IS an age old habit of men everywhere. I too am guilty in my youth, so on one level I could not get mad at this man but on another level, I did feel uncomfortable. Being on HRT, I am dealing with feelings, ideas, emotions, and etc that I never realized before. So I guess it is all just part of becoming the new me and I just deal with it the best I can.
