I think it is amazing how just a little light make up, fixing my hair and jewelry putting in my forms transforms how I feel... it is amazing I do enjoy being who I am when it is all in sync. Guess Anne was just kind of there putting up with it and when I did this she is like yea!!! ha!

I hear ya there Bonnie,
I've been trying make up and hair on my own. You tube sure helps with instruction and techniques. But my significant other is away for three weeks, so I'm taking advantage of my me time. Dressing every day. But what I want to say and perhaps you have already done this. I'm kinda the newbie around here. I went out a got a manicure and pedicure. Never thought I'd come around to doing that. But it was amazing and fun.
Then I also got brave enough to go to a professional make up studio. The girl there had me put on the make up and corrected me as we went along. Just some simple tricks, using less makeup-less is more-. Then she just waved her fingers through my wig and gave it a whole new style.
When I left there I felt like a million bucks.
I had so much more confidence going shopping etc. en femme.
Then my real treat was to run into a shoe store and find on sale a pair of red boots on sale for $20, and white high heels for $3.97.
I was a happy gal.
BTW you look great.

Thanks...yes I agree with that make up tip...less IS more that is the trick to enhance your features. Now if you have a blemish or need to cover an area a bit of concealer that matches your foundation works wonders too. Still it is a very fine line and I do believe if you look at a really attractive woman you will see they do cross that line a bit eyebrows, lips, and eyes are well defined but not overdone and I believe that is what drives men crazy they are so flawlessly beautiful. Perfection...but not over done...just a bit over the line enhancing their features too much is just too much go too far and it is no longer attractive. It is an art. I am still learning. You have to be willing to experiment a little try different things...I have tried a powder for my brows, now I am doing a brow pencil with a brush and a highlighter on the other tip it is a little more difficult but the effect is better definition so I will probably continue. I have rather thin brows so I will trim the wild hairs instead of plucking them, but I do pluck out the wild hairs that are white. I do pluck a bit from underneath from the iris to the outer tip of the brow but I do believe brows should not be thin drawn on lines! They should be natural but shaped a bit that's all...I do clean up the inner edge a bit too so it is well defined. I do find I prefer eyeliner pencils and there are brushes, and mechanical pencils...but the grease pencil in a black is my choice. Lipstick for me is lipstick easiest thing to put on and I see no need for a lip liner, who knows may one day? I do have difficulty lightly dabbing the lower lashes with mascara so I don't wind up with clumping and smudging...I have never applied the liner below the lower lashes...but something to play with like eye shadow my sitter taught me how to do it...I just asked her and we talked about it. The entire application should not take longer than about 10 minutes for a regular morning application...I suppose if you were going out for some special event ... well ladies do spend a lot more time and tend to apply a little more...evening make up. I just go for the normal everyday where less is more that women do every day of their life just about.

Make up is so nice when you look in the mirror and you feel nice about what you see you look enhanced and better...funny I take pictures and they look different than what my eyes see so I wonder gee but cameras are not perfect the lighting, focus, and what they capture will never be as good as what our eye sees because they are mechanical and we may not have the best lighting so photos can be frustrating but sometimes when the photos come out good it makes my confidence and how I feel improve a lot. It is a very nice feeling inside when you have a sense inside that I do look pretty and feminine on those good hair days...

It is fun and I do enjoy the freedom to really be a part of my self that has always been there free of all judgement or disapproval free to be the woman that I have inside myself and let her out like a dog let off the leash free to run an play.
