Truth meets Reality...

Enjoyed the third outing with the local FB group that has many members and sponsors practically a new event to attend every day...Went to a wine tasting Friday, Went to a local seafood restaurant last week, skipped out of a comedy event Saturday...gaw have to pace myself, last night went to an outdoor dining event with a live singer country blues guitarist who had won a national award she had an amazing voice. The are a slew of events with this group. Lots of different people. Have met a couple of nurses...now that the ears are healed (2 months 24/7) I can save the ear rings for home for future events to project an image women won't hang back from...stereotypes and wondering make them hang back more initially...these women want a strong, confident, active type I think...I am that somewhat, can be...but I also have a softer side that's not overly aggressive. I can stand up and confront once I have had enough but I have a high tolerance too...beware the quiet ones...

Also...I have to unfortunately be careful or women my age will hang back for that reason too...their radar I think have limitations with a tolerance only so wide... or again they will hang back. It's a problem a very real problem for 90% of women...if they saw how I look at home frequently... that would be it. I think the women I am attracted to find this way out of their boundaries. Yeah that's a problem!!!! Because I am a girl stuck in a male body to a high degree. I can feel a normal life is there nearly in my grip in these groups but in my head I know the reality. Can't share who I am or that will be it and this group is a lifeline for me.... I have to resuscitate my life after 10 years of sucking wind...

Last night a Cardiac surgical nurse once she knew I was a diabetic educator was after me to volunteer educating to help people in the "hood" who desperately need education on it..

I gave her the name of a colleague telling her I have not practiced in 10 years and am not working..
She kept teasing she was going to be looking me up... can't see how that would work without being under an organization's legal protection for practice....on and on and on...

Well We all know the tantalizing prospects that are there for us but which will probably forever lay just beyond fulfillment for us.
