electronic "crossdressing"

Post by Eris Lunara »

I find I don't dress much anymore. That can be a topic for another post.

But, my facebook page is femme. Mostly I use this to talk to people who know me really well, or else only on facebook, and truthfully, I don't use that alter that much anymore either.

I find that people react differently to me when I present as feminine (whatever that actually means) on facebook than they do when I present as "masculine" In reality, my identity on facebook is a bit androgynous, and people are allowed to draw their own conclusions.

But some of what I post there expresses something that I have a really hard time putting into words. it's not about the clothing. Maybe it's more about all the woo woo mystical energy stuff. There is a sense of mystery, awe, connection with nature, and enchantment that seems to call for itself to be experienced as something which for lack of a better word, as feminine.

I was never one to socialize while dressed. My favorite thing to do while dressed was always to walk in the wood, or across a field, by moonlight.

Anyone else have feelings like this?

For that matter, does anyone else crossdress their facebook identity as, well, not male?

Being a CDer that is not fully out to the world, I guess you could say that through this forum I am fully out to this forum. So yes in a way this forum is a way others know I have both a femme side and masculine presenting images and they are ok with it. I do not have to worry about hiding one of my presentations from those on this forum.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.

When I lived alone in Germany years before the Internet I used to acquire femme items by mail-order and dress up in the evenings for my own personal gratification. I also savoured the 'challenge' and paraded out dressed head to toe after dark, so people I met didn't scrutinize me.
I am nowhere so bold nowadays and dress privately only. I miss the thrill of the earlier outings, but the buzz remains the same, thankfully. I have absolutely no facebook or other media presence, so electronic crossdressing must remain an academic subject.

You can do that? I thought that was expressly prohibited?

Bernice, it's possible to do that provided you sign up with different email addresses. I have used multiple identities on FB, too, helped to keep things simpler and not having to explain things. I don't do that any more, though, gave up my SL account as this forum is now more than enough, and at times, just too much.
