Well this has been interesting. A few months ago the doctor told me that he'd really like me to wear compression stockings because of varicose veins. So I did, and the feel of them on my legs reminded me strongly of the feelings of stockings when I would dress up. I enjoyed it a lot.
I pretty much lost the desire to dress a half dozen years ago, and when my daughter and infant grand daughter moved in with us I tossed all my clothes. Well they both moved into their own place a few months ago.
My wife is a away for a week and I have the house to myself. I've also gotten isolated because of things like friends moving away. I started to think of when my wife would go away and the kids were in college or went with her to stay with her parents and how much fun I'd have getting dressed up and just relaxing, watching tv, coming here, going hiking..... and lo and behold today I went out and bought a couple of things. LOL I couldn't remember what size I was. It's an old familiar feeling.

I don't know where I'll go with this. But it's all been a bit of a surprise, thought I'd share it.

Thought about getting caught in your panties with the stockings? "Oh hi... I got curious from wearing the stockings."

You know the better half. How would she take it?

I can sympathize. . Since the heart attack, I have a touch of CHF (congestive heart failure) where the heart does not work as well as a pump as it did before. . .I get some swelling in my right leg only. (which I broke in a car accident back in 1982, and ended up with a compound fracture of my Tibia and Fibula. . apparently severing some of the lymphatic drainage channels.

It is a pain in the backside. . If I sit up for very long it starts to swell, but by the time I have been to bed and slept it is back to normal. Still, not good as it is a decline in overall function. And a reminder I will not be around forever!

The socks are knee high. I don't wear panties with them. I wear them in public with short pants in the summer. Other men tell me they wear them too but they wear long pants. One man who wears them has a wife who bought me some, but they didn't fit.

Once in a while when everyone is out of town I wear and sleep in my other femme clothes. Not as exciting as it used to be, but kinda fun.
