Halloween topic in newspaper:

I want some CDers to chime in on this, it was in the local paper :

You Want to Wear WHAT?

Halloween is all about pretending to be someone you are not. Boys and girls can be witches, superheroes and pink-wigged princesses. But what happens when a young boy wants to be Snow White and the girl wants to be Mr. Incredible?
Just part of the fun or uncomfortable gender crossing?

Hi Karen,
Not wishing to wax to philosophical, but most of your sisters here who will be "dressing" for holloween will not be pretending!!!! As of children, what ever children are defined as .................. I won't pass judgement on that now!

Hi Karen:
It seems the article in the newspaper is only a reporter seeking replies for a story she wants to do on cross-dressing halloween costumers. If I am right, there is nothing really wrong in the request except possibly stereotyping. What really counts is the story the reporter comes up with. Will probably be a humorous one more than anything, i hope.
It is interesting that the article uses "witch" in the neutral gender category. Maybe it is ok to CD as long as you are not a princess
