Yesterday, after J had got something in the first shop we went in, it all started for Kay in BHS with two shirts. Not what you would expect of me but that side of me needed them. I was commended on being brave and buying them almost enthusiastically. So we then went upstairs to ‘our’ department and before you could say knife, J had two items in the basket. I was lagging way behind, but not for long.
I thought, hang on girl don’t spend all your pocket money in one go, so after a coffee we did a bit more window shopping and then settled for lunch before I hit Marks and Spencer’s. I had seen a lovely pale pink casual cardigan on a well dressed lady in the supermarket on Saturday so had my eye on one of those, saw it straight away so in the basket it went I was on a roll.
We were both a bit disappointed with the Autumn collections in M&S so went back to BHS and I got the grey check pencil skirt I had seen previously and a pair of cream sling back, stiletto heeled shoes for only a tenner.
Not a bad shopping trip for both of us, ended up with Sunday evening in my new togs, J said the pencil skirt with stilettos and a casual cardigan didn’t go together well at all but I didn't care I just had to wear all of them. The evening was rounded off nicely with a bit of catalogue shopping at 10:30 at night an order for a denim panelled maxi skirt that I had chosen and a new pair of corduroy jeans for J.

Hi. This purchase was actually from Wed. night. A friend and I went to dinner, and then she said she needed to see if she could find some decent crop pants and a top. Being near the end of summer, we decided to check out the selection at the local Ross store.
I found a pair of kahki colored pants, light wt. for summer, a nice brown sweater that is in the shade to be my color, a shirt/blouse with vertical stripes, and a white cotton top that is light and airy (Gloria Vanderbilt, Liz Claiborne, NineWest, and JasonMaxwell, respectively. My cost, $56.00.
Lois found the pants she wanted, and also found a skirt suit, a casual skirt, and a pant suit, and a top to match the crop pants. She had recently gotten to her desired weight (from 190 lbs to 145) and she really made the clothes look nice, or vice versa. Her cost, $149.00.
Ross is getting some new clothes in tomorrow. Guess we better check them out again!!!

Well,
This week I picked up two new wigs to experiment with, a new set of black edwardian heeled boots, and a new victorian dress pattern. Then it was off to Perth (in Dallas) for a long day in the fabric district to pick the fabrics.
I just love it when the creative juices are flwoing and I am able to make it all come together in a short time.
Time to get sewing
*hugs*

femme shopping
Yesterday I again had some male commitments and errands to do in larger town about an hour from me. I did not have time for an actual femme mode look but did have some time to do some femme shopping.
I started out at VS as I had a card for a free panty and $10 off any bra. I for the most part already have the VS bras that will fit me being I am on the top end of their sizing range. So I just asked one of the SA's which were the free panties for the card I had. The SA's must really be specialized or restricted to areas as the one I asked took me to another SA to help me. And I have noticed this before other times I have been in there. Other times they have asked me if I needed a bra also but this time they did not. She rang up my free panty and put it in one of their bright pink and white bags and I was on my way. No doubt where I had been.
My next stop was LB. I had not seen anything on their site but decided I had time for a quick walk through. As on the web site I did not find anything but did find a bra I had wanted to try on clearance. It was a stretch lace one instead of all of the molded cup ones. An SA came by as I was digging through them and asked if I needed anything. I said I was just looking to see what they had. She said they were the summer colors and styles and there was not much of a selection. Of which there was not as they were pretty picked over. I agreed and said I had found one and would just get that. While paying the SA made in interesting comment. She said that her dad also bought bras for them while growing up. Hummmm, can we say maybe he was a CDer since he was comfortable buying bras?
My next stop was Target to pick up some things for home but could not pass up a chance to run though the clothing. I ended up with two light weight sports tank tops that work great for undershirts as they wick away the moisture. They were femme of course and were the racer/T-back style with I like.

Was out and about this afternoon in downtown and on a lark I popped into one of my favorite vintage shops. I found a pair of the Gloria Vanderbilt jeans from the disco era in super condition in my size and only $7.00! Couldn't resist so here I sit with them on and my brown knee high boots and a white blouse. Think I am going to talk a walk up the street for a coffee to show off how nice they make my tush look!

It was yesterday but.
Walmart had a clearance sale on the most adorable blue lounge outfit. It even matched the color of my favorite thong. So I wore them all around the apartment for a bit before my roomies came home. I even wore the shorts to bed last night but I had to change the top for a t shirt just in case.

Today as is becoming a bad habit i bought way more then set out too. Plus reminded of a sale not a sale after you buy more things . So today i was at one of my fav new stores & bought a nice fitted knit dress(short)& a cut off sweater (kind that cuts below breasts) & a nice blue fitted top that goes past waights & sits on butt. My fav sales girl Kaylee was in told me she loved the new wig plus she said look at you you have such great legs & butt we are so jealous. I was wearing black pants today & she was commenting on that the dress could be also worn with pants but in her opinion to hell with pants i think you should just wear the dress , i thought oh if only every gg would think like that & say to us cders to hell with pants .lol .
