Went shopping today, walked into payless shoes found a great pair of heels size 10w, fit great, didn't try them on first, used a conversion chart I found on line. Then proceeded to Sears found knee length skirt on sale 8.95 and a 36B demi bra and Vanity Fair panties, closest thing to thier signature series. (which they have discontinued) No stange looks from the clerk at all :-) He did ask if I had a sears charge card or wanted to open and account.
I think the stores are just happy to see folks spending money.

Rony, try them on next time. The SA's do not care. In fact I have found most of the SA's at Payless more than happy to help a guy find some femme shoes. They are usually helping me find what I am looking for often pulling shoes faster than I can try them on.

What did I buy today? Well, actually yesterday, but just now on line.

I bought two tops with very narrow vertical stripes, one blue, white and brown stripes, another with dark grey and blue stripes, and one has pin tuck details around the neckline, and then a couple of sweater vests (pullover) with v-neck, one true blue and one dark berry, to go with the tops and another I already had, and two pair of pants, both made of a easy care knit and very soft and comfy. Oh and a pair of black jeans.

One pair of the pants and the jeans came from Ross, and were less than $7 each. The rest came from Lane Bryant, and were $157 in total.

I will go back and get a zip front cardigan when my next retirement check comes in, and look at a long sweater coat that I liked the looks of. And I still need a pair of lower heel boots for the winter. That will probably end this phase of shopping, unless I find some bargains at Ross or Marshall's.

Yesterday I bought two new things.

A nice red top that that is sleeveless and polyester. It was on clearance and cost me like 8 bucks.

I also bought a new skirt that is part of the new Go collection and Target. It is blue and fades to a gray color with a black waist. They are not meant to go together.

I have been remiss. Two weeks ago, I blew my new clothes budget for the last month on three shirts (one from Ross, two from Lane Bryant), a sleeveless knit sweater vest in bright blue (Lane Bryant), and a fake two piece pullover sweater with a collar that looks like a white shirt is underneath it and shows three buttons (unbuttoned mostly) in the v-neck of the knit sweater (Lane Bryant). Total cost, 157 bucks.

Looked for shoes, but in the wrong place for large sizes.

Also went to Dustees and picked up a new, smaller bag (in red) and a new slimline wallet (28 bucks, total) also in red. Plenty of room for checkbook, pen, bills, and credit cards and other ID, but no pocket on the wallet for change. I now weigh 5 lbs less when I carry my purse. Who'd a thunk it? My grand neice and grand nephew wish to thank Dustees for their unexpected windfall of my change.

After reading about the tunic+leggings combination, I decided to follow that trend. I bought some black leggings, a dark gray hooded tunic, and also some jelly shoes (too cute to pass up).

On Friday and yesterday, I looked for marked down Halloween accessories for next year or for just being playful.

I found a great headbands - flapper, cat ears, white veil, and devil horns.
The halo was too expensive :).

I also got a couple of fun wigs. One was a black goth wig with black and red pigtails.

I was also looking for another blonde Bo Peep wig for when my current one wears out, found a quality one a bit above my price range, but it's at a year round theatrical/costume shop, so that's going to be there.

The same place where I got the goth wig had a beautiful, cheap Bo Peep wig in PINK! Your darn right in thinking that came home with me, too. I paid for both the fun wigs with a $10 bill and got change back!

I found a pair of jeans that ride maybe a bit too low, so will have to think about them today, and a top that I was sure was the right size, kind of a pullover, v-neck in multihue threads and rough in appearance on the outside, and warm. It may be a bit snug, so will exchange it for the next size up (these will shrink slightly when washed). May go up one size on the jeans but they sure look good in the rear!!! Total cost: 36.00 bucks. Next time I will take time to use the dressing room.!!! :)

Yesterday I bought a set of footie pajamas from Target. They are Nick & Nora brand and have clouds on them. Very cute and comfy. I am going to buy the sock monkey one as well but have to wait until at least tomorrow to do so.

Back in 2002 I bought my first wig.It is the only one I have ever owned and I have been happy with the way it looks and feels.Problem is it is old and getting thin in some spots.

Today I recieved a new wig.It is shorter than my old one and maybe a shade or to darker.I ordered it thru The Wig Company (TWG) after ordering a catalog online.I am pleased with how it feels and looks and the quality seems to be there.I will post pictures as soon as I get a good one.
