Can't truly answer this one again, the more we get to know about each other the more I find I don't know about you ladies over there and the amazing country you have, but, in my ignorance I would probably be 'old school' about it and celebrate Washington's birthday.

I've just been to France for a 'booze crooze', but did eat at my favourite restaurant in Calais http://www.restaurant-lechannel.com/intro.php?id=537

Would you order from the French Menu or cheat like me and download the English translation.

Order from the French menu.

If you travel to a non-English speaking country, do you:

Carry a language phrase book with you or try to learn the local language?

I try to learn the local language.

I've 'had a go' at most western European languages while travelling but I was completely flummoxed by Swedish, Finnish, Danish and Russian last year while on holiday.

OK. I need help on this one, the birthday cakes have arrived in the office what do I have

Blueberry Muffin or Chocolate Cake (or both  )

"I didn't know that!" The cake took its name from an American with the last name of "German." In 1852, Sam German created the mild dark baking chocolate bar for Baker's Chocolate Co. The product was named in his honor - "Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate." In most recipes and products today, the apostrophe and the "s" have been dropped, thus giving the false hint as for the chocolate's origin.

Mocha Frosting (that's icing to us UK cakeaholics)

Cream Cheese Frosting on Black Walnut Cake from Wilson House Inn, Ocean Springs, Mississippi or Lemon Cheese Icing on Ginny's Apple Nut Cake from Mountain Home Lodge, Leavenworth, Washington
