Hello one and all

Post by Joanne Mason »

Hi there, I am Joanne
complete newbie here, up until three weeks ago I hadn't even heard of a T-Girl, then on a whim bought a pair of 1950's full cut knickers (panties) and it just snowballed from there. Now I feel completely relaxed and 'at home' when dressed.
Unfortuntely I have a hairy chest and legs, which I fear will need to be waxed :-( I know nothing about make-up, how to act, where to safely go and I've bought a dreadful wig. Help!

Hi Joanne

As a whole life CD I find your story fascinating - what a challenge that must be for you.

Welcome to our sorority, I have a makeup guide (in pdf format) that may help you if you are ready for that step. Just get in touch. There are plenty here willing and able to help you. BTW you are not the only Lancashire Lass here :)

Regards
Susan

Hi Joanne, -wel- to the forum.

We all started somewhere, and that start was triggered by something we did, probably just on a whim.

You've got the rest of your life to explore this aspect of yourself. So don't rush into things. Take your time, and enjoy the trip.

Like Virginia said, "baby steps."

Yes, three weeks. I find that a little strange too. Although I can remember trying on one of my aunties girdles way back in about 1964 and trying on my mother's bras a few years later, so maybe not so sudden.

Hi Susan
you're just down the road from me, which is nice. Us Lancashire Lasses should stick together :-)
Thanks to everyone else who said 'Hi'.
It's reassuring to be made to feel accepted. As you undoubtedly know from your own experience, I feel a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Baby steps are indeed the way to go, but I feel that in the last few weeks I have realised that I have been on a journey and that I didn't realise this until I arrived. Corny, but that's the way I feel.
I'd love the guide Susan, ermm, how do I get in touch?

Welcome to the forum. Even more, welcome to the wonderful albeit mysterious world of crossdressing.

Adult onset CDing is less common, but no less valid. It is rare that we meet anyone soon after onset, so I hope we can learn much from you, if that's OK with you.

Helping you - if we can - is our way of giving back for the help that we have received.

Hugs,

Bernice
