Hi everyone, Im Miss Jo (28) Im new to all this and am really excited to meet like minded people. Ive only ever dressed up twice and havent for around six years. Ive wanted to dress up for so long but at the same time was scared what the wife would say. My urge to dress up got too strong and ive explained to my wife what I want to do. It didn't go down well at all. Even so ive ordered my first few bits and plan to dress up in secret. Im kinda confused but its something I have to do x

Welcome to the forum Miss Jo. You should be able to find lots of advice here. Many of us have been through a phase when we had to keep our dressing hidden.

I think you will find friendship and good reading here to help fill in some of the questions. Go slow and enjoy, don't let guilt drive your path, and consider how to improve communications with the spouse

Sounds like you're in a bit of pickle. FWIW, I have an instinct you ought to convey the depth of your feeling to your wife before you do anything further.

Its more than a pickle. Well it is in my head anyway lol. Ive tried to explain and even talking causes arguments. Im not really good at talking anyway but I dont believe my wife will or even try to understand it.

You are not the first to have to start that way.
Enjoying the outlet in secret for a while, while not optimal, is practical.

Depending on the intensity of the urges there may be a time when you have to
have the dreaded this is what I am chat.

The way to make that chat go as well a it can
is to build a strong loving relationship with your wife
That way when you do have to ahve that chat
you will start from a loving and caring foundation.
