Thanks Jassmine!
I made a lame excuse up to come home early...very naughty of me, but I feel better now. I took the job against my better judgement because it was the first job I was offered, but it isn't what I wanted. (to work with adults with learning disabilities) I am more determined now to find the right job for me. Taking any old job just for the sake of it is just too stressful!

Thank you so much for posting that, CJ. I had not heard of Joseph Campbell before. I did a quick search and came across some great reading about him on iVillage, amongst other places.
I'm lucky in that I know what path I should be following. I still do casual relief work for a leading UK charity for learning disabilites, and worked on Sunday. I get such a buzz from it, I just know I need to be doing that for a living, full-time. Reading a bit about 'Follow your bliss' made so much sense, it has really galvanized me!
Ed was like 'are you sure you want to take this job?' when I took the Civil Service one, I should have listened to him,
he knew I was going to hate it. (To be honest, I think I wanted to prove to myself I could pass their selection tests, which I did, so at least I have achieved something).
Have a great day everyone
Hope I can sit it out till the right job comes along, Alexandra

I've just noticed the last few days that my nails are wayyyy long now lol, like nearly as long as my mums!
I can't bring myself to cut them, not even a lil bit, but I'm gonna have to before I go back to work
What's the best excuse for having long nails lol If anyone asks I'm gonna have to say something
Or is it alright to have long nails ahhhh, and also I cut a tiny lil teeny weeny bit of my eye brows off this morning lol I could easily have cut loads and loads I felt like I wanted to
Sorry... I'll shut up now, I'm just in a strange mood today like I wanna shout out the window into the street that I dress up as a girl lol Dunno why...
