IT'S A COVER-UP!!!

Post by Alexandra »

Okay, sorry for using hype to get your attention, but I thought I'd start a thread about something that ALL of us have in common . . .

What do you use to cover up your stubbles or 5 O'Clock shadow?

I'd like to hear what works for you and what doesn't work?

I use concealer (specifically CoverGirl "Smoothers" Concealer -- it comes in a lip-stick style dispenser). It is a bit expensive ($5) for the amount needed to cover your face (1/3 of a stick). But it sure beats applying layers and layers of foundation for that TammyFaye look.

How about you?

Hi Laurie,

I've heard of the lipstick technique too (pink or orange) but somehow I've got it stuck in my mind that lipstick is for . . . LIPS! LOL!

Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Pink (and Orange) isn't my color (LOL!) so I'll have to get some -- I've learned that raiding my SO's make-up drawer is a no-no if I don't want MY stuff to start disappearing as well . . .
