neither

JFK shot by Lee Harvey Oswald alone.

Last year I saw a History Channel special hosted by Peter Jennings (before he passed away) about JFK conspiracy theories. By using hi-tech 3-D analysis of the photos and moving images before and after the assassination, there wasn't enough conclusive evidence to prove that JFK was killed by a second gunman. The shadow of the Grassy Knoll gunman in a still photo couldn't be resolved enough to show an actual person with a gun. Oliver Stone's film "JFK" was biased toward a conspiracy. I don't think that there was a conspiracy at all.

Prefer celebrating Washington's birthday on Feb. 22nd or every third Monday of Feb?
