Blush, Thanks! I like your new one also. I'm thinking of changing my avitar one more time.I took more pictures tonight.
Choice AImage
or choice B:Image
I think I look fat in my latest avitar. Of course the avitars are a lot smaller than these pictures.

Lisa,

Both pictures are so good, it's really difficult to choose between them, 8) but I vote for choice B - it looks just a little brighter and I can see your lovely hoop earrings better. I think it would show up just a little bit better. I really don't know how notable the difference would be with the picture shrunk down to avatar size.

Tonight, I'm following my Sunday night tradition of wearing most of the outfit my wife wore in the morning to Sunday School and church. I'm wearing her Avenue 2 piece purple polyester dress with a gray and blue large floral print. The ruffled sleeves are elbow length on me, with a high V neckline with a lattice. The skirt is midcalf on me (almost ankle length on my wife), and full enough so I can pouf it out with my new black net petticoat.

The rest I added from my own wardrobe - black stockings, dark navy pumps, 2 large link goldtone chains, gold bamd wristwatch, amber and metal elastic bracelet, white and purple floral cuff bracelet, midlength bleached blonde wig. Underneath - my white satin bustier with garters, purple floral print satin panties, and my black half slip under the petticoat.

What are YOU wearing?

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the compliment. :)

I'd opt for photo B. You should smile a bit, Lisa, like in your gallery pix! It lights up your whole face... 8)

Love,
CJ

Wow! Sounds sexy and fun. I'm just an old gal...I'm still in jeans, wearing a comfy man's shirt... changed out of the turtlenecked grey sweater. Still being hugged by my bra and corset and Veronica 2. I feel GREAT, hope you do too!

Jadeanne, I think it's great that you get to wear your wife's going to church clothes!

Hi Lisa,

To make this consistent for Jadeanne's thread. Nice outfit.

I'd choose b too.

You have very pretty hair, your makeup was great, and oh water super pretty blue eyes!!! =D> Your eyelashes were done very well. Your makeup for the nose was also very good.

I think another photo shoot would also be good because your eyes and lips do not look relaxed. A smile would help, but being more relaxed would be more important. (being relaxed shows in the eyes the most)

Go and take a look at your picture again, but this time block out just the eyes with your hands. If you had to take a look at just your eyes in a photo with smiling eyes, I think it would be more apparent that you don't look relaxed.

I hope none of this sounded negative, because I don't mean it to be. I just think a relaxed Lisa will be stunning not just pretty. :)

Oh, one more thing. Nice earrings! :)

Thank you for your very kind and helpful comments!!! I read your message at the office and couldn't stiffle a laugh. The reason I don't look relaxed will be apparent in the following picture:

I was taking the pictures in our powder room in the mirror with the camera held as shown. I was having trouble posing, keeping the camera at correct right angle, and remembering to shut off the flash. I was concentrating..... I have one more night while my wife is away and I'll try again. Again, you make me blush, thanks for the help and the compliments!

I like that one!! :)

It makes sense now that you explain it! :)

I'm glad I made you smile, blush, and giggle. :)

Have a good night. I really like that black and white picture (camera and all)

Hi, all

I have some catching up to do.

Heidi,

Great outfit! I don't have seamed stockings (yet) but I'm a garter girl. I love the rest of it, too!

Lisa,

Considering the way you are shooting pictures, they are coming out really good. Do you have to turn the flash off for each individual picture?

I'm still not ready to take my own pictures for posting yet (mostly makeup challenged and trying to fix up a well lit suitable area).

I might try the mirror trick soon (maybe with camera on tripod), then when I get the makeup at least semi-presentable (or chicken out and wear a feathered mask - pun intended) I might think of using an edited result as my avatar.

Tonight I'm wearing a gift from my wife, an Alfred Dunner red paisley 2 piece dress with pleated skirt. We picked it out on Saturday at a thrift store, also bought a string of pale pink beads that my wife really liked, and got back change from a $10 bill. My stockings are navy blue Hanes sandalfoot, shoes are navy pumps with 2 inch heel, goldtone heart shaped dangly clip earrings, goldtone rope necklace, silvertone bracelet, and my short curly ash blonde wig. Underneath - beige National full slip, white Sears cotton bra, white cincher, beige OBG, white satin panties.

What are YOU wearing?

Hi Jadeanne, Yes I have to turn the flash off with each picture. The lighting in the power room is just right. It's three 100 watt bulbs in the fixture. I don't have a tripod yet. I'm strongly considering getting one. You can't use a flash shooting into the mirror, doesn't work, I've tried. If I get a tripod, I'm going to put the camera between me and the mirror and use the mirror to help my pose. Hopefully I'll be able to relax and smile

It's so cool that your wife buys you clothes! :)

After looking at picture B in avatar size, I've decided to keep the avatar that I have. While I like B better as a full size picture, the current one looks better small. (I'm soooo vain! )

Lisa,

I bought my tripod from Walmart for around $20. I got it last summer and used it with my digital camera a few times for a family gathering portrait and a few "artsy" shots of scenery. For my ocasional use, it works fine. It has a bubble level, which came in handy when I set it up on uneven ground.

My wife and I buy each other gifts fairly often (MORE often in the year and a half since the "girl within" awakened after 33 years).

As you shrink the size of a picture, small details can get lost and that can change its character. Keep at it - the nice thing about digital cameras is that you're not paying to have each picture developed, so take a lot of them, choose your favorites, and edit them on your computer until you're satisfied.

Thanks for the Walmart tip!

I went to Richmond yesterday. I spent the afternoon as Lisa shopping at consignment stores. I had hoped to report tht I was wearing a new outfit, but I couldn't find anything I was interested in. Oh well. One good note, my sister and I went out to dinner. She had been supportive of Lisa for a while and then decided that she was uncomfortable with her. So I was really surprised that she suggested that she and Lisa go to dinner. We had a great time! My outfit was exactly the same as my last one, gray turtleneck, jeans and black jacket. I did wear my animal print scarf around my neck, it was cold out.

Lisa,

Too bad that your shopping turned up nothing new, but I bet you enjoyed looking anyway.

Going out to dinner with your sister sounds great. I really like animal prints, would love to see a picture of you wearing the scarf.

Denise,

Do you go shopping dressed away from home? I only dress at home and don't plan on going out dressed (maybe Halloween if the right party invitation came along). My wife is accepting and supportive, so I consider myself REALLY fortunate.

Tonight, I'm wearing the jumper, top, and slip that my wife wore to church. The jumper is red corduroy with wood-look buttons on each side, with the hem just below my knees. The long sleeve light beige knit top has a small green and red floral print. The trapeze slip is pink. This moring, she chose this jumper when she discovered that the dark red one she originally chose was too short - she didn't want her slip to show.

My stockings are beige with reinforced heel and toe, shoes are dark red halo suede pumps, accessories are goldtone wristwatch, goldtone and colored enamel hinged bangle bracelet, goldtone chain with small locket, goldtone dangly earrings, and my short curly ash blonde wig.

Underneath, I pouffed out the skirt with my black petticoat, my bra is a beige 18 hour, white boned waist cincher, beige obg, pale gold satin panties.

What are you wearing?

I do love to shop! Found a great consignment shop in Richmond, but nothing "grabbed" me. :( But I love consignment shops, I love a bargain!
