I have gone through a list of names that I have called myself over the years. For the most part I am known as Silky Drawers on the internet. I can't use that name here so I go by the name Mary.
I chose the name Mary many years ago only because it rymes with my real name which is Gary.
In recent years I have become very accepting of all of who I am. I do not see myself as a woman trapped in a mans body, nor am I two different people in one body.
I was born male and I am a man. But, a male who was blessed with the insite to explore and enjoy all aspects of life. I am as comfortable with my masqulinity as I am with my feminity.
This leads to the name I feel most comfortable with and a name that I feel is true to my idenity when I'm feeling feminine and that is Miss. Gary. After all I'm still Gary, I'm just enveloping myself in a different side of my persona. Mr. Gary wears pants, Miss. Gary prefers a dress.

I am a better man as a woman with a woman, than I could ever be as a man with a woman.

this name choosing for us reminds me of something I read once about the Native Americans. The names they were given at birth may change several times before they reached manhood and chose their own name. It was a part of growing up.
So to our choice of fem names is a part of our fem self growing up.
