I’ve just checked my gallery here. No image to display. How come? There was one, which I would not delete. Is someone jealous? Or just an error?
Thank you, Sarah. I know I've been fishing 4 compliments, but that's what I lack now and that's what would inspire me to show more of Ivanka to all of you
I love this scarf myself. It’s so feminine, silky, it’s pleasant when it touches the skin. It’s long enough so I can wrap my body with it. Looks like a sexy dress then.

You posted here before I could send you a PM. I deleted your photo from the Gallery because you have not yet met the posting criteria required:
I deleted the links to your Facebook account made in earlier posts as they are not permitted. If any member wishes to become friends with you via Facebook, they may contact you directly via PM.
Also, I combined three (3) successive posts (above) into just one (1) post, above. There is no need to start a new post when responding to different members, they can be combined into one (1) post . . . which is what most of us do here.

In addition, all members, especially the new members, are encouraged to make several posts before uploading photos, and 5 posts is a good starting point. Sure, we'd like to see what you look like, but we would also like your participation at the Forum. Posts made in the New Members, Member Announcements, Arts & Leisure and Special Occasions sections will not count towards the 5 post minimum. In other words, we want to see active participation before you start uploading photos.

Re: Ivanka
Hi Ivanka, and
to our home on the internet.
Many of us here have wrestled with the same problems you are dealing with now. Some are still in the churches they were raised in, some are in other churches, some have broken all ties with organized religion, and some didn't have religious backgrounds. What I am saying is that there is a wide range of beliefs in here.
We have had to deal with those backgrounds and each ones own faith.
I am not saying this next to be argumentative, but I have been in a number of different churches and each of them taught that they were the "way". I have read the bible through and have not found any church mentioned as being the "way". Some times churches are more "in the way".
As you have probably noticed by now, if you post something that sounds like a plea for help, you will get a lot of advice from a lot of different experiences. Read it with an open mind. Some of the advice will fit you and some won't. You don't need to take offense at that which doesn't fit you. That advise may help someone else.

Re: Ivanka
Hi Ivanka,
welcome to this place, and we all hope you find peace and understanding. As to whether crossdressing is a sin, well only God himself can legitimately answer that one, and I will not presume to speak for Him. But what I can say, is that I have been much happier and have found peace with myself since I admitted that this is who I am AND who I want to be.
I'm not going to try to convince you of anything and I particularly do not want to discuss religion. But we are always here when you want to talk, or if you're feeling depressed, or just need to vent. We cannot give you any answers, but we will give you support and try to understand your struggles. Now, all of us are confirmed and (more or less) happy being crossdressers. But what is the right answer for us isn't necessarily the right answer for you. So if we seem a little over enthusiastic sometimes and try to give you our answers, then just consider who you are asking
But the most important thing, you've got to take care of business first. This is fun and entertaining, but it doesn't pay the bills. Pay attention to your job before anything else. And after work, we will be here to tell you about the cute dress we just bought

Re: Ivanka
Hi Ivanka, and
, sorry to come to this party a little late I have been ridiculously busy. We have often had discussions on the teaching of various Christian Churches and other faiths, I have put my penny worth in a number of times and have written a bit here http://paula-paulasplace.blogspot.co.uk ... ssing.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm sorry but I do feel I have to say a couple of things
1 I am a protestant so will have a different perspective however Jesus told us that the two greatest commandments were "To love your neighbour as yourself and to love the Lord you God with all your heart, all your Soul and all your Mind", who ever and what ever you are you have to love yourself, before you can love anyone else, or God.
2 Followers of Jesus Christ were known as followers of "The Way" until the Church reached Antioch where they were first called Christians, so therefore any Disciple of Jesus follows "the Way".
Don't worry I am nearly finished just to say what we can see in the picture looks very nice, I like the scarf, they are so versatile, and I look forward to seeing more of Ivanka as you develop you own style and build confidence.

Re: Ivanka
That’s it I have uploaded my photos to the gallery. Please, do not delete them. I’ve posted more than 5 times under the right topics, so I’ve been quite a good girl. Facebook friends see my new pictures first, even earlier than they appear here. And my pictures stay they unless I decide to delete them. So, why not become friends with me there?
Paula, it’s never too late to say something nice to me. But is it so that I lack confident now or have no style? I thought I am confident. I am not new to crossdressing. I just had a big break. What I do lack now is accessories. I have ordered a wig. Waiting for it. Probbaly one is not enough anyway. The other thing I do lack is a nice wedding dress. I’ve been willing to have one though all my life, but they are expensive and I am not in the best financial situation right now: ( I wonder if I ever find myself in the right financial situation to buy such luxury.

Re: Ivanka
I have found that although I have a couple of wigs, I only wear one of them, because that is Paula. Accessories are very important, a watch, matching jewelry, the right handbag, all come together to make a good, convincing presentation. We have often discussed wigs, I think spend your money on one good one rather than spread over few not so good, then choose your accessories, I have to wear a (apparent) engagement ring, as I always wear my wedding ring, a simple chain and matching earrings. I have a ladies watch I picked up at a charity shop with interchangeable faces and straps, this does well for evening or day wear.
I am sorry if I misunderstood your situation, but drawing on my own experience as I have been going out more I have found that own style has developed and changed from what I thought it was while I was closeted. For me this has been one of the joys of being out, I have developed and grown in way I never could while I was on my own. You're right it is expensive to try to keep two wardrobes, I can only manage because I use Charity shops so much, there is no way I could afford to buy many of the clothes I have if I had to pay new prices. Of course some girls are in a better financial position than others but most of us have to be selective about where we spend our money. A good wig is invaluable, most other things can be bought second hand or from a budget brand. A wedding dress always seems to me to be extragivent even if you are getting married, if not then may be you could spend your money more effectively.
Your photos are sweet, I am sure we all look forward to seeing more as you expand your wardrobe.
