These shoes from Payless. I've had this T-strap thing going for the past 6 months or so.

muddy femme time
Well after a muddy start last thrusday: http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=8486
I got in some good femme time and shopping. I was not looking for anything specific so I was just wandering. But this is what I ended up trying on and getting.
Tried on 3 tops and a skirt. Got two tops and a crochet jacket from Goodwill Store.
Tried on 6 tops and 2 skirts. Got one top from Fashion Bug.
Tried on 3 tops and a skirt. Got pair of brown tights and pair of trouser socks from Lane Bryant.
Tired on 4 bras got one at Kohls.
Dress Barn did not see anything I liked.
Tried on 3 pair of shoes and got one pair of brown 3 in heels. Tried on 5 bras, got none at JCPenny.
Walked the mall and stopped at many stores but did not see anything I liked enough to try on.
Tried on 3 formal dresses at Sears but did not get any of them. But oh the one was hard to leave there. It looked so good on me and felt wonderful. And it was shades of purple and violet.
Target, Tried on 3 pair of shoes but get not get any. Tried on 7 bras, got 2 and a PJ set, shorts and tank top.
Wallymart, tried on 2 tops, 2 skirts, and a casual sleeveless top and skirt that I just loved and hated to leave. Got a bra tank top in white like a tan one I got awhile back.
And I spent less than 150 dollars. I love sales and clearance items.

On Monday I went to 2 thrift stores with my wife as adviser and took advantage of their discounts for people over 55 - 50% at one store and 25% at the other. I wanted to wait until I tried everything on before posting.
I bought a total of 4 dresses and 3 skirts for the grand total of $25. Everything fit, although one skirt was a bit snug.
From the store that had 50% off - one dress is a long sleeved mustard one piece mock turtleneck with pockets that my wife said she may borrow in colder weather. 2 other dresses are 1 piece short sleeve geometric prints, one primarily gray with lettuce edged hem, the other a light, bright shirtwaist dress with a belt that fits and 4 belt loops. I wore the last one today while doing some domestic chores.
From the other (25% off store), 1 dress, a pink floor length lace hem formal dress that had a matching pink lace trimmed poncho-like top. It's a little heavy for really hot weather, but will be a joy to wear in cooler weather and will help satisfy my princess side.
The first of the 3 skirts I wore yesterday - a very short black silk wrap skirt with bright, bold floral print. It went great with my green tonal lace trimmed spaghetti strap bra top.
Yesterday, it was time to try a short black broomstick skirt with a small white floral print. It went great with a lot of tops, and looked great pouffed out with my shortest (pink) petticoat.
Today, my theme is "Good Morning Little School Girl" and I'm wearing the last skirt, short blue plaid with a cream colored top.
I still have to rearrange things so I can have a discreet photoshoot area to have some photos to post.

Got a two-pack of stretch, lace trimmed camisoles. They're pastel colored; one lavender and one green.
Am sitting here, typing this while dressed in boot-cut jeans, high heels, the lavender cami with a long-sleeved over-shirt, my brunette wig and dangle earrings. It feels good to be fully dressed again. It's been a long time.
Love and hugs,
Alana

Two thing lately. With my longer nails, I have a hard time connecting and unconnecting my neckless. One day at Walmart I found a magnectic clasp adapter for neckless and braclets. Secondly I found the NEW Sally Hanson 'Spray On, Shower Off" hair removal. I will not get a chance to try it out until Saturday. I also found but did not buy Sally Hanson's hair removal for the face. If the Shower product works OK, I might try the face product.

FYI - - I've tried the hair removal for the face, and yes it does work . . . but it's intended for GG's, whose facial hair is generally not as coarse as GM's. While I've never tried their spray-on-shower-off hair removal product, I would not be surprised to find that it won't work as well as you'd like, for the same reason (hair being too coarse).JoAnnDallas wrote:I also found but did not buy Sally Hanson's hair removal for the face. I'm interested in your results with these products, so please start a new thread (in Fashion & Beauty?) . . . I'm sure the other ladies here will be interested, also!
Good luck!

PS: Alana, I've found myself wearing the same type of outfit (I *love* stretch camis) . . . pairing the cami with shorts or skirts (w/wo the shirt) looks great, too! *Hugs*
