Hi Deborah,

Just remember Las Vegas' slogan: "What goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

Your statement about Vegas, while usually true, doesn't always stand. When I was young (a very long time ago! rotf rotf ), I went to Vegas with my parents. I had $50 in my pocket. My father bet me that I would have nothing when I left. The bet was for $100. ..OO.. I very carefully played nickle and dime machines and proceeded to lose $49 of the $50. That left me with a silver dollar which I was determined not to spend so I could win the bet. I watched a white haired lady playing a silver dollar machine for about a half an hour. She was putting multiple dollars in the machine and after a half an hour passed, she ran out of money and left. =P~ I just knew that machine was ready to pay. Out came the silver dollar. <<stupid>> I pulled the lever and watched the symbols pop up in the window. The machine started making all kinds of noise and I ended up with 250 silver dollars!! //party *-* //party *-*

I left Vegas with that $250 plus $100 from my father. ))))) I am one of the few people I have ever heard of who left Vegas with seven times what they came with! I have never gone back. I don't believe in tempting fate!!! !!tongue!! !!tongue!!

Well I been going to vegas since I was 9years old. Mostly to visit with my grandparnts who used to drive there in the NY winters. Now they live there. It is where I went for my 21st birthday and now i have been going there every year for the last 3years for a convention and see the grandparents. (it is the one place that I can not CD do to my grandfater) he is nice guy over all just that he is set in his ways but he nearly 85 so who am I to say (oh yea he used to be a 3 pack a day smoker and has no trace of lung cancer).

Any way I will be staying with them then going to a hotel then staying with them again. At there home I have access to the internet so I will every now and again stop in and tell you how things are going.

well it's day one or (two) depedending on your defination. Yesterday I left my home at about 3:30am and drove the 1200 (give or take) to vegas getting in at 8pm. Not bad. Now I am just relaxing at my grnadparnts home and while they are out I jumped online. The convetion starts this afternoon and I am planning on gong to it for a little while at least. Today is going to be a kind relaxe day to get over the long drive.

Side note: I was listening to a book on disc on my way down and found it great. It is the Daventy Code.

Talk to you all later.

I hope no one minds if I keep a kind Diary of my vaction here as I like to share it with you all.

Day 2
Well day two was pretty much like day one kicked back and slept in. For those who know me that is kind of hard. Last night we went out for dinner Just my grandparents and me. We had ribs at this great place in Vegas. Today I prety much slept in then I went to a computer store and got my grandfater some new cardtriages for his printer. I bought my self a new game for video game system (it was on sale a good deal) and bought anouther memeroy card for my camera so I will not run out memory while taking pictures.

By the way did any one know one of the larger hotels in vegas last week went black for 3 days they had to empty the hotel while they fixed the problem. It was the Beligio.

Is there any suggestions of things I can take pictures of while I am here?

WELL I got back to a computer with internet conecttions. Let me get you caught up. ON days 3,4,5,6.

Day3 Monday ---
I went to the convention had got the gest of the lay out around 12:30p I got my seat (in the first row) of crossfire. On the first half of the show was Paul and the other guy. (got some pictures of the other guy getting his make up done) the guest on the first half was the mayor of Las Vegas and repulican senator (I think) from Arizona. The second half they had on Wayne Newton (got lots of picts with him) I tried getting him to give me autography but he was croweded and he was running late but I did talk with his wife while he was talking with his fans. I did get a autograph (personalized) from Paul (of crossfire). I also got a sunburn on my arms and noise (not to bad). That night (or was the night before I forget) I won 40 or so dollars at the craps table. (two days later I loss it)

Day 4 Tuesday----
This was pretty typical day wint to the convention and walked around got a lot of goodies and what nots. After that I went over a CD store here in Vegas (if Beauty or Sharon or Shannon oks it I will tell you in a later post). Any way I got measured by a really nice gal there for breast fourms. I debating wheather or not I will get them (I will go back on monday as I do not want this sitting in my car for that long of time while I staying with the grandparents. After that I went over to the Luxar (the pyramide shaped hotel) and saw Nascar 3D on there 7 story tall I-Max theater after that had some sushie at the great resturant in the hotel. After that went back to my own hotel.

Day 4 Wednesday ----
This was a pretty boring day as I did the same thing go to the convetion then went back to hotel.

Day 5 Thursday ---- TODAY
BIG DAY ---- I got at 7:30am and stood in front the mirror and got the beard trimming scissers and started cutting away. then I was down to short hair. I got my electric out and using the straight cutter trimmed it down more. Then several more times I used electrim to smothe out the rest. After showering I shaved with a blade to finishe it off. So now It is smooth (or as smooth as it can be). After that did the finished packing my bags loaded my car then had breakfist before finaly checking out of the hotel. Then went to the convetion where I spent the rest of the day tell it ended then came over to my grandparents to spend the next couple days before I head home on Tuesday.

This is just an addition that I just thought of because I saw something in anouther post that reminded me of it. Yesterday (I belive) I saw a hydrgen battery that some one uses in a camera (you all seen them on tv the one used now are big bricks) that is what the old ones are called bricks. This new one uses hydrogen filled into a round cylidical unit that is in solid state (it the same thing they use in weliding) but then inserted into a unit that combines with oxgen to produces power. REALLY COOL. and safe they have done everything to it mkae sure that it safe. It is a clean safe full source and plentiful and the only by product is oxygen.

Hi Jessie,

It sounds like you're having a great time! :)

Bravo for shaving. :) That may sound like a wasted bravo, but I mean it. One of the things that kept me from progressing with my CD'ing was me not removing facial hair. When it was on, I wouldn't dress.

Feel free to post the place where you went in Vegas. The CD store I mean. If it has a link, put it in the Links of Interest area.

It's great hearing from you!!!! :)
