dresses for a wedding

Post by Ralitsa »

The official leader of the religion that I invented is getting married this weekend in Duluth, so obviously I'm going.
It's a 50's themed wedding, so I needed to buy some 50's style dresses. And that gave me the excuse I've been wanting for years to get some custom made dresses from my favorite Etsy shop. I couldn't decide which one, so I just got 3 that I like (for a mere $500).
They fit fabulously!! I swear they are the best fitting dresses I've ever tried on :) which, of course, isn't surprising since she made them exactly to my measurements.
And I ordered a few pair of new stockings, so I'll be able to wear the lingerie I got on sale last year at VS.
This should be fun!

Congrats on your purchases! Did you already have crinolines/petticoats? Did you opt for color(s) or white? Tell us more about your new dresses! :)

Ralitsa that sounds so much fun for a wedding. And oh the shopping must have been great fun. Oh more details on the dresses and outfits would be great if you would like to share. And pictures?

Sounds like that would be a fun wedding to attend.

Enjoy,
