If anyone knows of a TG friendly doctor or support group in Ocean County, NJ please let me know. I am very confused and depressed right now and I don't know where to turn. My wife is very supportive of me, but there are things she doesn't understand and things that I don't want to talk to her about and I don't feel comfortable talking to my family doctor. I feel I am at my wits end and need some advice soon. Thanks for being here.
Luv,
Gerri

There's a list of support groups at http://tgguide.com/Guide/new-jersey.htm
You will/may need the current version of Java to access the site.
Someone in one of these groups may be able to help with a doctor.
Feel free to open up here as well.

LIke my sister Donna said, we are here to support each other and if you want to share with us we can be very good listeners and might even have some ideas to help you through some of the rough spots.
You may have seen posts saying that your SO is also invited to join in and discuss with other SO's things that she may not feel comfortable in talking about on the open forum.
I can speak from personal experience - the girls here saved me!!!!! and for that I will be forever in their debt!!!
Keep the faith, honey and I can assure you that this "gift" that we have is one to be nurished, treasured, loved and shared and it will return to you many more beautiful things than you can imagine!
Love,
Virginia

Hi Gerri--
I hope you can find that support group, at least. You may have to drive a bit for a TG-friendly doctor. It is hard to wait while you're trying to find someone who will understand at least some of what you've got to say.
It is hard when you have a supportive wife, but know that she is not the one to turn to at this moment. Good luck on your search!
