Blessed Be

Waking to hear the sounds of birds chirping
Able to see the early light of dawn
Laying in my nice, warm bed
Cuddling with my mate
I am able to walk to the kitchen
Get my coffee, feed my pets
Watching their scurrying and scampering
Listening to them purr
Joy
Returning to the bedroom to see my mate
Snuggled with one of our kitties
Waking him up with a cup of coffee
Sitting up late with him
Talking the night away
I am truly grateful for life's
