Since when do boys chit-chat more than girls?

Since when do boys chit-chat more than girls?

Post by CJ »

Hi all,

I noticed that the last post in the SO's general discussion area dates from more than a year ago. What's up with that? Where are the SO's? Since when do boys (even boys in frillies) chit-chat more than girls? I'm telling you, it's an upside down world we live in! We need to have a bake sale, folks, and lure the SO's back.

Love,
CJ

I'm happy to chit-chat in off topics with anyone GG or CD 8) I don't feel the need to have a private chat with just GGs but obviously if we have members that have certain things they want to chat about with only GGs then I'm sure one or more of us would respond :)

Mmmm...now bring on the cakes

Love,

I think it might simply be the larger number of new TG/CD members recently joining our happy family. Some are coming from other forums, but many are finding us for the first time. I personally welcome and encourage any and all GG/SO members to join in our conversations. It really does my *^^* good to hear from them.

I second that motion. It is also so helpful to all of us to learn from one another. And without their participation, we all suffer and learn less.

So I would also encourage all members of the forum to participate whenever the inspiration strikes them.

I don't really like girls, so this situation is just fine with me,, keep the girls out of our club.,,lol,,,,please look at the LOL,, this means joke in cyberland.

I am on another forum and they too are commenting on how there are fewer female so's(are there any male so's on these forums?) joining the chat. They don't know why this is either, maybe they're all part of the space program and left the planet.

[-o< Did I hear someone mention a Bake Sale?!? [-o<

Like Curly and Terri said, we girls are still here, and we post in the GG-only section as the need arises . . . in the meantime, I'm more than happy to post amongst ya'all.

Uhm, bring on the cake, girlfriends . . . that Strawberry Shortcake looks delicious, but I also love German Chocolate Cake, and Carrot Cake, and, and, and . . . . oh, hell, just hand over the cakes and no one will get hurt!! :P Terri, I'll sacrifice and eat your piece of cake for you.

*Hugs*

- SL

PS: Anyone remember the Chatty Cathy dolls?!? Not naming names, of course, but I know quite a few ladies here who can, and do, out-chat the GG's with both hands tied behind their backs!! :P

SL, the speech to text software is kind of a sore spot for me in our house. Our nerdy son is fighting learning to type because the speech to text software works well for him. At least he thinks so. He is just being stubborn. And two can play at that game. I may have to take his computers away for the summer except for learning to type. More like put a lock on his computer room door.

Better yet Kimberly, buy him an ancient manual typewriter and let him learn how much easier he has it. Besides, it will make a great conversation piece when he's grown up and has it sitting on his bookshelf. ;)
