Welcome back Elli and I am glad you are well on the path of healing from the past relationship. I always find it interesting what people talk about there CD/TG as having two separate personalities or being two very different people. Myself, I am basically the same person being in all male mode, mixed mode, or all femme mode. I had always felt that way and my wife confirmed it after going out me for the first time a few years back.
I wish you the best of luck going forward and hope you are able to stick around and give some input.
I used to be an SO, now I'm a GG.

KimberleyS,
In the big picture, I just saw him as my boyfriend. Whether he was wearing boxers or panties. Whether he was fixing something around the house or putting on makeup. He was just my boyfriend. BUT, he would have the personality shift. When he would turn softer I knew that she would be coming out or when he would suddenly, often abruptly go into "work mode" I knew he was back. I still always saw him as one person, just in different spaces. I think we all do this to varying degrees. I know I do, but with him the shifts into the softer feminine were not something I've experienced with another men. The men I've experienced kinda just stay in one mode and vary a little from that center. When my ex would shift, there would be a SHIFT. It was palpable and of course when he was in dress he would be even more extreme in his feminine. The guy part of him never ran around the house twirling in petticoats (those where sweet days...and fun!).
My guess is you are more integrated with yourself and that's why you don't change personalities. I dont' think my guy has accepted himself enough to be merged or blended the way you sound like you are. I know he struggles with his CDing.
It really seems as though there is a WIDE range of CDing. I think he is closer to the TGer side too??
Just want to thank everyone again for all the love, support and wisdom. You're all so very sweet. Thank you!!!!

Elli, there's more to that statement than any of us here will ever know or understand. It doesn't matter whether we're CD, TG, TS, GG, SO, or anything else. I think that's one reason we generally try to be so understanding. There's always more for us to learn. Some of it isElli (GG) wrote:It really seems as though there is a WIDE range of CDing.

Elli, Welcome back to the forum! Sorry to hear of your break up but thanks for not totally turning your back on all men who would venture into their softer side. There are so many G G's out there who would absolutely vomit at the thought of their man wearing panties. Many relationships have ended for that reason alone, so thanks for coming back

Welcome back Elli. There is not much I can add to what has been already said, but you can be sure the WE are here for you. I'm sure that most, if not all, of us are ready to listen and lend an ear and a shoulder to share with you.
I'll just give you a big warm hug too, and encourage you to keep going forward in your life.
