Hello, I am Hailey.

Post by Hailey »

I am a little nervous to be writing, so bear with me. I have posted on shooting forums in the past without said nervousness, so the fact that I am tells me this is important to me. So anyway, I'm Hailey. My wife discovered this site last week and signed up as a SO. She has many questions, and as many misgivings about me and my likings for the feel of fine fabrics on my skin. To be honest, I'm sure I will learn alot myself from spending time in this forum. I have even more questions, and misunderstood feelings about my alter personality. She almost caused the failure of my marriage to Carlyann several years ago. We managed to stay together, and have grown much since that time. For the past 5 years, Hailey had been resigned to be only a fond memory and fantasy in the back of my soul. So what changed recently to allow Hailey to come back out? We became empty nesters May 1st. So here we are. What surprised me the most was my wifes interest and new found support. It has always been my concern of her feelings. I have always had a problem with anything new, I over-do ANY new thing in my life. The fact that Carlyann will be reading this, and I will be able to read her post, I hope will help us understand and accept the other side of me.

Thank you for the welcome. I've been reading since I finished posting my hello. I think my SO(CarlyAnn) and I will like it here. CarlyAnn spent quite some time here the past few days. Today is the most I've spent.

-wel- Hailey and CarlyAnn to the forum. It really is nice to have an SO who tries to understand and support our desire to dress in femme. I'm kinda new here myself but from what I've found it's a really nice place

Hello Hailey and welcome to the forum

Congratulations on having such a supportive SO. Sounds like she is doing her best to understand this part of you, so that makes you a very lucky person. My only advice is to listen to her and respect her feelings, and above all, be patient with her. If you do that, the rewards will be worth it ten fold. Your new life in that empty nest will be an adjustment in itself, so take things slowly and move only at a pace you're both comfortable with. Best of luck to you and CarylAnn.

Welcome Hailey and I can only echo what Stephanie said!

We have a motto here: "baby steps, just baby steps!"

You are most fortunate to have an SO with an open enough mind to at least try and understand this new emerging side of you. You have to give her time to absorb this "new" lady in your lives. Hopefully she will discover that having a girlfriend can open all kinds of new and exciting relationship possibilities.

We look forward to you both sharing with us!

Love,

Virginia

After reading post for the past few hours, posting a few replies, I can t say anything but WOW!!! CarlyAnn and I haven't talked like we are now. I am learning so much about her side of this. I realize that I had been completely insensitive to how she had felt. This forum has opened both of our eyes. One problem we had was no outlet to share or ask questions of. All I knew was that I liked dressing in womens cloths, and liked playing the girl occasionally in bed. As I stated in my first post, I'm one of those personalities that takes whatever I'm into to the max at first. I was so very impressed last week when CarlyAnn sent me a text saying she had picked out a wig for me. We received it yesterday. I haven't really "WORN" the wig yet. As I'm learning Moderation, and I was dressed just a few days ago. The wig fits good, I can't wait to put it with this dark green mini skirt/vest outfit that CarlyAnn gave me on Friday. As you can see, things are a changing. I am truly Blessed with my wife. She is, and always been my best, and most important Friend. I am truly Blessed. She just informed me that she isn't sharing her makeup. After raising three girls, she's tired of sharing makeup. At least I won't be leaving the house with it.

Hi Hailey, -wel- to the forum.

Note that you aren't the first and won't be the last to feel like a kid in a candy store. Pay heed to the store manager, however ;)

All of you have a great day today. I'm a little envious that Carlyann can be on the site today while I'm at work. I really feel we have found some much needed new friends here. Carlyann and I have started having a good dialog about crossdressing and many other subjects. She was most surprised that I've shown so much intrest and time on a site that deals with CD issues without discussing any sex aspects. Heck, I myself am surprised. I think that when a lifestyle has to be hidden, and seldom can be brought out to enjoy,
i had to wrap all aspects together in a limited time frame. I think this caused me to get dressed fast and hurry to enjoy the fact that it really does turn me on. I was very surprised to see myself enjoying a discussion separated from the sexual component. Thanks again for helping to open the lines of communication between Carlyann and Hailey. Talk to you later today. P.S. I can't wait to try the new wig and shoes, and have Carlyann take a few pictures. I will post the pics shortly after. The green skirt/vest looks great on me. Nothing beats a great pair of legs.

Hi Hailey and Carlyann,

I'll take the liberty of addressing this to both of you since you both joined at the same time and have made the comment that you will be reading each others posts.

First off I think it's good that you are talking and sharing your ideas. Although my wife doesn't have much at all to do with my CDing we do read and discuss many of each others emails. It can be a nice way to discuss things.

What struck me immediately was that you both mentioned becoming empty nesters. My CDing was minimal and I didn't think much about it for decades. Then when my eldest daughter became older and more independent simultaneously with my younger daughter going through some difficult things it suddenly took off. They both live at home but there was suddenly both increased stress and a larger void.

Anyway I guess what I am getting at is that the CDing may have grown stronger now for a variety of reasons, ranging from greater privacy to feeling a need for something. Using Hailey to fill the void.

Some of my friends and I have a saying. Our favorite drug is more. Which sounds a lot like what you are saying about if you want to do something you want to do a lot of it.

I am not ignoring all the possibilities involving your sex life, an inner more feminine side, and all the other things that we discuss here. However I would ask is this an attempt to fill the emptiness brought about with an empty nest, no matter how happy about your childs growth you are? This does not negate anything about CDing- it was there already. You chose this instead of golf or a new hobby or whatever to fill an empty space and there is a reason independent of the empty nest for this. But why now as opposed to any other time?

Hope my thoughts were helpful and if they seem off base feel free to ignore them.

Hello Hailey,

I believe you are getting some great wisdom here as that's what this forum is all about. Remember not to push you wife to hard as with all things it takes a little. *;*;*

Hailey, I guess I'm lucky in that my wife and I have similar complexions so we can both wear the same foundation and lip stick shades but my initial choices were all wrong. Getting your own make up kit can be fun and give you somethings to put in your new purse with any other accessories and or perfumes you may wish to swap out whenever you journey out into the great unwashed @@9@@
