Bisexuality is nothing to be scared of. From the tenor and circumstance of your response this sounds like a genuine feeling (though of course I may just be biased). Of course, your first step is, carefully try to find out whether he is or isn't gay or bi. This may be difficult as at your age one doesn't always know with absolute clarity one's own sexuality (hell I didn't know I was bi until *years* after high school), and the breeding of extreme homophobia that is prevalent in our culture can cause even gay teenage boys to respond with extreme hostility to the most delicate of overatures. I would recommend talking to him & trying to find out first what he thinks of gays and crossdressing (subtly of course). If it seems from the tone of the conversation that he's okay with the idea, or if (in the best-case scenario) he out-and-out tells you he likes bois, then you can proceed pretty much as you would with a girl. Just be careful. Some people will take any excuse to commit hate crimes.

This is why I asked the question , B_G does not have to answer it publicly on this forum but needs to ask herself that question.

this is how I picture sexuallity on a sliding scale

-------Homosexual-------Bisexual--------Hetrosexual--------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------X---------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
---------A sexual----------A sexual---------A sexual----------

The ( X ) is where I fit on the scale , 1/2 way between hetro and Asexual.
We all fit somewhere on this scale , can be inbetween or on a dfferent level .

There seems to be a misconception in the bigot community that it looks like this-

( group 1 homo +bi ) ( group 2 hetro )
this is totally wrong and why some people have so much confusion , bigots can see only 2 colours .

Hi,

On the Merinda scale, I fit somewhere like the following:

-------Homosexual-------Bisexual--------Hetrosexual--------
--------------------------------------X----------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
---------A sexual----------A sexual---------A sexual----------

In other words, I'm quite sexual, bisexual but attracted more to women than men. When my wife and I got married, I was young and quite naive sexually. Knew nothing about the gay community, about TG or BDSM either. And I haven't explored those areas. And don't really want to explore them; I'd rather stay faithful to my wife.

But if I were widowed, I'm sure I'd end up in a new long term relationship. But with a supportive woman? another tranny? or ??? I haven't a clue. It would be an adventure finding out, of course. But one I'll probably never experience; she's likely to outlive me. And that's just fine too.
Love and respect,
Rikki

THanks for sharing that with us Rikki,

Sorry I forgot to put the titles on the 3 lines , so here they are-

Top line --- sexually active
Middle line---no action at present but still interested
Bottom line ---no action , no interest

I hope that makes my chart clearer for anyone that didn't get the grasp of it.

love bringing back old posts

-------Homosexual-------Bisexual--------Hetrosexual--------
S/A --------------------------------------------------------------------
N/I ------------------------------------X-----------------------------
N/N -------------------------------------------------------------------
---------A sexual----------A sexual---------A sexual----------

As Merinda said, Top line Sexually Active(S/A), No action but still interested (N/I), and No action No Interest (N/N).

Thought since there are more people on the site currently then there was in 05', more replys could come out of this.

I can only supply my answer up above by what the rules that most in society relate to. In my world, I just like guys and I'm very active. Most times I don't consider myself gay, I feel that I am a woman that likes guys.

PS-Bringing up old threads is cool, somehow I missed some of them first time around.

Well ladies I've dropped a level since my original post some years back , I am married with teenage children so I can't take on the full title of "A-sexual " but due to lack of sexlife and lack of interest I could be labeled "pseudo A-sexual".

Interesting subject sexuality and how we see ourselves. Took a class on Human Sexuality back in the dark ages when I was in college and learned a lot about myself from it as well as how others see us. I guess there was a time I would have said I was homosexual as I strictly had attractions to men. Yes I tried it the other way a few times and while the physical orgasm was there there was not that pyschological release I got from being a girl to men. Now as I mature I realize that I am a woman and I am not homosexual but rather I am 100% heterosexual, after all shouldn't a woman be attracted to a man?

I like this so I will put myself on the scale :) sorry I know most of yall don't know me but this is a good subject!

I would have to say for me it is a bit of a range... actually a couple of ranges...

------Homosexual-------Bisexual--------Hetrosexual------
S/A ---------p-------------------------------------------------
N/I ----------------p--------------c--------c------------------
N/N -----------------------------p-------ccc-------------------
-------A sexual----------A sexual---------A sexual----------

whereas the P's represent who I have been in the past... and about where the spread was, and the C's represent kinda where I am now...

meaning in the past I have been active with boys, and have enough experience... and was a boy at that time so it was homosexuality. but also have had times of more in the middle stuff due to my own gender identity issues and such... currently I would say I am more have an interest in women, and this perhaps has a bit to do with my experience with men and a slight amount of fear I have of men in general (I may explain that some day down the road when I know everyone better). Yet I am completely not active and to some extent am not interested because I am too busy improving myself in other ways to be able to be in a relationship right now. at the same time I have to recognize a bit of a c in bisexual because I think johnny depp is a hottie ;)

A heterosexual woman should definately be attracted to a man I agree :)

...

Also: I should mention, bringing up old threads is great for new girls like me! :)

Bisexuality, does that mean you have to pay for it? All joking aside I am not sure where I fit into that picture. Karen loves her men but she also has a soft spot for other gurls like herself, so where does that put me? I have always hated labels but I am curious as to what I would be labeled as?

Karen -

What should you be labeled? From what I see of your avatar, you could be labeled "attractive"

I am very sexually active at this time...Love the ladies but do have a definite interest in meeting other cd's for some fun times together. There is a double standard that it is ok for a lady and is even encouraged in many circles to be bisexual but it still seems to be out in left field for a guy to be bi. It has certainly improved with the advent of the intenet. If you look at surveys and websites there is a much higher ratio of men who are supposedly "considering" that they might try bi. Let's face it sex is sex...if two people enjoy it together what difference does it really make if they are of the same sex in the whole picture of things. Just my 2 cents worth...lol
