Hi all,
Pink Floyd, eh? I'd have to say
Dark Side of the Moon and
Meddle. I was about twelve or thirteen years old when the Dark Side came out. At the time, I was also listening to Yes, Bowie, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Queen, Supertramp, Rush, the Stones, the Beatles, and Lawrence Welk.
Our gang defined itself by the tales the Dark Side told. I was partial to Alice Cooper's
Welcome To My Nightmare, myself ("...nurse Rosetta wearing silk suspenders on her thighs...").
Pink Floyd rules. Their sound remains unmatched.
Love,
CJ
