New England Lingerie

Post by Absaroka »

I went on vacation to the beach in R.I. for a few days. One night as I was wandering around Westerly I came across an interesting store. Mind you it was about 9 p.m. and everything was closed, except for a used book store and a store with lots of lights called Zoe and Company which was advertising custom bras and personal fittings. So you know I went in. The place was huge with an entire room mostly devoted to Rago girdles among other things. I looked around a bit and chatted with the two sales ladies who were very pleasant and friendly. They do a wide variety of business- lots of stuff for masectomy patients but then sizes up to 54JJ in bras with a couple of mannikins that to my mind were a wonderful argument for breast reduction surgery. Very much a woman with special needs store but at the same time lots of bridal stuff and clubwear and the like. I thought of asking for a fitting but since I knew I wasn't going to buy anything that didn't seem right.

When I got home up googled them and they have a website which I looked at a bit. Lots of testimonials from happy women. It's an interesting website in that regard- they even have testimonials from nuns I think. I got to wondering and called them up and asked what their feelings and policies are about crossdressers and they said fine make an appointment for next time your in town. You do need to make an appointment for a fitting. I asked when a good time to go that would not make their other customers uncomfortable would be and they said about 7 pm. Then I asked again if they were comfortable with this (because I really would not want to make anyone uncomfortable, it was a very genuine question on my part) and was told no of course not we have men in here for bra fittings all the time. Talk about a friendly reception......So ladies if you are going to be in New England look them up on the web. They have another store in Concord New Hampshire and they were so nice that I'd love to send some business their way.

Hi all,

Interesting looking store, Absaroka. Here, I'm providing the link (and suggest folks click on "Tour" once on the page in order to get a virtual tour of the store--it seems well stocked with loads of frilly delights): Zoë & Company

Love,
CJ

That place is about 10 minutes from my home. They've been in business for about 10 years if my memory is correct.

Everytime my wife goes to Zoes I go and drool all over all the merchandise. LOL just kidding about the drooling part. It is sensory overload, however. Fripperies is also very nice.
